98-2002 trooper had a 3.5L V6 that makes 215 HP. Thanks for the credit in the video! 😎
Thank you, I don't know how I mixed a inline 4 and a v6 up😅
Samurais were super popular in the late 80's and early 90's, super easy to work on. They were tough little rigs.
Love them, especially the hard tops👍
hey my xterra made the video, awesome! nice video! :D
Awesome X Miggie!
Good thing you include the Isuzus in your video! Just to correct the 3.2 was not an inline 4, it was a v6 engine :)
Also, Toyota doesn’t own anything on isuzu. They’ve bought diesel technology from isuzu but that’s about it
@@gamer78full I thought GM owned Isuzu or at least had a percentage of it
Cool video I enjoyed it but they are pronounced EESUZU!
Lol! That was my first thought. I was gonna comment this exact thing
I had a rx330 and it was surprisingly good off-road
Isuzu 3.2 was a V6. Awesome trucks!
2 years ago I picked up my 2010 Xterra Off Road for $5.1k. Comparable Xterras are going for $10k+ now with the used car market spike
That's crazy, Car inflation is a real thing!!!
That's why I'm just going to buy new now. Used car prices are dumb
Is the Lexus RX 300, 330, or 350? You mention all 3
My 2wd Xterra is lifted on 32s and is still super capable
Love the Xterras!
I wished my automatic trooper had a 5th gear. Its hard to find a stick shift and the automatic has shitty gas mileage
You know you're young if you call it an EYE-suzu. 😂
Trooper II was awesome. Too bad they do not make square body offroaders like that anymore!
Yeah I love the trooper, so underrated!
Could you do a video on overlanding with Hondas?
Like the Cr-v or pilot?
@@gridmeet9602 Yes please
"I-SUZU" lol FYI buddy, it's pronounced E-ZUZU. Sorry, been a car guy for 40 years. I use to sell new Suzuki's and let me tell ya, they were VERY reliable! They also were a great value as they were typically the cheapest apples to apples. They left the US because American's weren't buying them at any price because they weren't fast, fancy or eye catching. Update yourself to the end of 2022 and I defy you to find a Samurai for $1,500 that doesn't need at least $5k worth of work right away. Good running, clean examples can go for $6k+ to $10k to even over $20k at this moment. The XTERA is an excellent example of a very capable off road warrior that is every bit as capable and nearly as reliable as the Toyota's and you avoid the dreaded "Toyota Tax" (Toyota tax= Paying a lot more just cuz it's a Toyota). As far as the Rav4 and the Lexus 300 or 330, I wouldn't ever put them in an "OFF ROAD" or "OVERLAND" category. As reliable as they are and although you could take them on some muddy trails, they will be left behind by the 4Runners, Land Cruisers, Isuzu's, etc, etc. when the road gets aggressively rough. The general rule of thumb here is AWD's are good for trails but anything more aggressive than a trail, you'll want an actual 4X4 with an option of low range 4X4. Lastly, when I think "Overland" vehicle, I think of something I can camp in, so keep in mind what type of interior space you'd be happy with if you so choose to truly overland camp inside the vehicle.
I loved my Xterra. Unfortunately the pink milkshake of death got it.
Looking into buying one. Any tips on what to look for or how to avoid the pink milkshake
@@dannydressel7433 yes. I think the in 2012-2015 models the problem was corrected (Google it to make sure) If you are looking at a model that was affected (again Google it) make sure the transmission cooling unit is in the outside of the radiator. This will look like a small radiator outside the main radiator with two tubes connected to it. Good luck!
The problem is being able to find some of these in decent condition 😩
“ if your like many people and you hate Jeeps”… why people hating on Jeeps? Lol
it's fun to hate on jeeps
every samuri is v8 swapped. that i have ever rode in
I had an Isuzu and it wasn’t reliable at all, not saying you are wrong, probably bad luck
I didn’t know my bad bro 🥲
Dawg u ain’t slick h stole the entire part of the rx from a website
It’s pronounced issoozoo rather than eyesuezoo
It is not pronounced "eye" lol
I'm sorry I didn't know 😭
@@gridmeet9602 look up early 80s Isuzu commercials, there are a few that are actually pretty funny lol
this kid clearly hasn't ever been off the pavement... rav4 lol
dude watch your own video please.... the spot where you say how capable the lexus is gotta be a joke right? jeeps and Fj's and such could easily go over that log.... but the Lexus with its All WHEEL drive system is not off road worthy. one look at that ground clearance. two to make it off road worthy. you would have to make it a 4x4 (meaning it would need a transfer case)
final point look at the shitty turn radius it had to use to go around that tree branch...
also if you own and drive a nissan ex. that's how i know you like to break down and like to sit down to pee
Bro plagiarized a whole section of this video from a forum
Wow this was hard to listen to, please double check your facts before you create a video.
