Loved your smile during band maid songs ... and love it even more with your braces. Looks cool ... ❤ You see ... I made it through your band maid reactions in one day ... now I'll continue with all other reactions. Enjoying it ....
Yup, Pick or Plectrum. She actually designed her own, which is a little thicker than normal and slightly larger as well. That is one of the things that gives her bass it's unique tone. She has them made from the same material that dunlop uses, but she wants hers thicker than the ones that dunlop makes.
I was there for the live debut of Shambles when they closed their Sacramento show with it. What an AWESOME surprise ending to an already INCREDIBLE show! Thanks again for the great reaction! 🤘🤩🤘
MISA !!! MISA !!! MISA !!! the Barefoot Bass Assassin , MISA`s a Bass Samurai , MISA can play , Finger , Pick or Slap depending on what the song needs .
Another Maid banger! You can feel the🔥come through the screen. "Shambles" ain't no sham! Just watch it grow on you like they always do! Thanks Band-Maid... and thx Verdy!

As others have been saying, you should see bass player Misa's magic trick. She tucks her pick between her index finger and palm and then plays slap & pop bass with her thumb and middle finger, and switches back and forth doing that flawlessly as needed. She was asked during some interviews what happens if she accidentally drops the pick. One time she answered stating that she had not dropped one in over two years. Another time she stated simply "I never drop it". Ultimate confidence! Onset live is a good video to watch her doing that technique. She does it in several other songs though. If you hear her slapping and popping the bass then you can bet she is palming that pick, so keep your eyes open.
Check out the live version of HATE? from Lollapalooza, that's floating around right now. I know you've never reacted to that song, and it was an epic live performance you don't want to miss. Epic Bass and Guitar tradeoffs.
Great reaction....ok lets get it out of the way......this song totally JAMS !!!!! But Misa and Akani (bass and drums) really stole the show on this. There is not a better rhythm section on the planet. The both totally shredded this song !!!!!
You should really do 50 Foot Ninja's "One Hand Killing". Manages to be both supremely heavy and lounge jazzy at the same time and it completely works, which is not an easy thing to pull off. BTW, Chris Squire (of Yes) also plays bass with a pick, and you obviously have experienced how awesome his sound is. There are pros and cons to both approaches. The pick provides a very percussive, crisp sound, which of course works perfectly for Squire's approach. I prefer fingers for my own playing, but a particular song might really just call for a pick type tone.
First time I hear Band Maid, I just subbed to your channel, a fellow Quebecois from the West Island of Montreal. I wouldn't pick Band Maid as my first choice to listen to but watching your reaction to it was great.
Hi Verdy, please come back. Band-Maid released 10th Anniversary Live video (4 videos) in their channel. We want to see your reaction on those 4 videos. Please come back.

This song had me at the first guitar riff from Kanami, so heavy! Band-Maid is showing no sign of slowing down and just keep getting better and better!

It's also razor sharp for slitting throats....probably.😏
@@GaryHolloway-810 She's Bassassin after all!
Don't be silly, boys. She doesn't use a pick to assassinate people. She uses her bass strings as a garrote. 😋
@@Parker-- Trust you to be annoyingly smart.🤭
@@GaryHolloway-810 Annoyingly smart? Well I'm definitely one of those three.😜
The Band-Maid smile says it all. no further questions ;-)

MISA tucks her pick so she can slap in "onset" and "Domination".

WOW!!!!😳🔥🔥🔥
In the istrumental Onset you can see how Misa switch between pick and fingers in the blink of an eye mid song
MISA uses a pick sometimes. Watch how she tucks it to either pluck or slap.
