Wall-E realizing the other Wall-E was dead is actually kind of fucked up and sad. For hundreds of years he's grown numb to having to cannibalize the corpses of his brethren just to continue his lonely existence. The one time he thinks he's not completely alone it turns out to just be another heap of trashed parts manipulated by wind. It looks like it really opened up some old emotional wounds for him not to even scavenge the body for useful gear.
I love this game. The developers actually cared. There are (including the epilogue) about 22 levels. The animations for everything you do are pretty good. I absolutely love the race against time levels. I'd give it a 9/10. Excellent time killer.
oh god. those death animations used to give me nightmares as a kid. now i just look at it and laugh histarically cause wall-e breaks the fabric of reality to fall down the A B I S S.
@@pulsehiker it really is. They didn't do anything crazy and made some truly fun levels! I'm just happy it wasn't just another movie tie in cash grab, but an actual good game (unlike the Wii version)
I enjoy gaming logic where "bottomless pits" always exists, even if it's visibly not a pit but a bit of dirt at like... a foot lower than the platform you're allowed to move on.
you saw the review 4.9 on the second game made from another studio, heavy iron studios, that game did in fact suck a lot, this one on the other hand is a total nostalgic masterpiece, and its made by Asobo studios btw
@@elektra81516 i gotta be honest i since then found the game much better than I initially thought, tho noth games have their own qualities, i find asobos versions much more enjoyable due to the movement mechanics and consistency in levels.
2:18 Hey dumbasses. Wall-E used his laser a couple times in the movie. He used his laser to open the rotten fridge when he first found the plant. Then he used the laser to free himself when he was trying to rescue Eve who he thought was in danger.
As much I prefer the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions due to the fact it was more consistent with the movie, you can't deny that the mini games on the PS2 version were so fun.
This game is actually really good imo. I like the lil backstory they did so they can give us the tutorials without taking out attention completely away from the real story and at the same time, make us symphatize with Wall-E more. Not to mention this was my introduction to Wall-E before I discovered the movie when I was kid lol. And I thought the game actually translated the movie really well.
I like to imagine the minigames are canon so when wall-e meets another they play a game and are immediately led to their death, constantly leaving him alone
YES!!!! Ive been waiting a long time for someone to adress this game!!! i love it, it was my childhood, and i still own it and play it when i remember it exists. A blast every time.
I remember having something very similar to this, except it was a port to the Wii. My absolute number one favorite thing I used to do all of the time was stopping the traffic of people on their hoverchairs, during the Axiom portion of the game. I would stand in front of a person coming my way and for a moment, they would play an animation and stop, making the others behind them play the exact same animation and stop. I thought it was the funniest thing at the time. I miss the early two thousands. 😥
I remember being 7 and the other wall-e just waving to the player with it's dead eyes staring into nothingness actually scared the crap out of me and my cousin
This movie was my entire childhood, and the PS2 version of the game (+ the PvZ series) were like my entire life for so many years lol The "jpg of space" is probably the most realistic part of the game, honestly. Space doesn't visibly whiz past you. Those white dots are each hundreds of times the size of Earth, you're not exactly gonna have warp speed view, esp when you're still inside earth's atmosphere (which is what that minigame is)
I've heard a lot of good things about this game, it actually has scenes recreated from the film, it's an open world game, and it's not shovelware. :) I wish more licensed games could be like this.

Amazing narrative moment, actually. Underrated game.
Ansolutely! Now imagine how it felt to play that as like an 8 year old lol
I was absolutely devastated
Dude... why'd you have to scar my soul like that...
Wall-E was really underrated.. Back when Disney was still good
THERE'S OTHER WALL-E'S?! I thought he was just him and an original! This is blowing my mind...
I do remember this being an absolute banger during my prime time gaming years
The soundtrack 😩
Too i was like 5
dude same tho i do remember it looking a little bit better, or that might be me used to high graphic
I finished the game on psp
I remember playing this when I was 8

yes I loved it

one of my childhood game, it's great
The music at the spaceship dump is my fav...
I loved the WALL-E game too. I played the PSP version a ton, and I enjoyed every moment of it ^^
I don’t think you understand... this game was literally my entire early childhood. Mostly because it was the only game I owned, but still...
Same dude it was my first psp game
Yes i had it when i was a kid in my psp i din't play because i dont even understand the story ( I dont know this was a movie)

I played the DS version so there wasn't much. It was one of THOSE games you get from a relative for Christmas😂

Just Wall-E falling's cinematic cracks me up

Same, another thing that gave nightmares to me as a child was the music in the sand storm race levels.
The fall damage one has to be the most scarring for me
It's a cute death cutscene.
When I was like 6-7 I played this game on my XBox non-stop even after finishing the whole ass story. Brings me back the good old memories
Same but for PS2. One of the few games I can say to have 100% completed.
Same but on PSP
Same but on PS3/Wii
Same but on PC
Yeah same, i remember it actually being a lot different than the game in this video. I think the one that was on xbox looks better.

I remember playing this game and is...... decent
Good way to describe it
This games for ps2
I prefer the Xbox 360 or PS3 version
I have this game on CD from year 2010 an i playing on PC.
@@AlbertGaming20 I find it wierd that the PC version is a port of the ps2/spinoff instead of the actual game such as the Xbox 360 versiin

As soon as Wall-E looked through the binoculars it showed and advert of a Dragonball game and it was the best unintentional meme I've ever seen.
No! This was my childhood in a plastic case. 'tis sacred
