I have a 6.5" sub(it's loud tho!) and it can play ALL the highs you want. I plugged it straight into my front channels and it sounded exactly like my normal speakers, except with more bass!

The lens is fine. I think what we all want is a better quality mic. We love your speakers and know it's hard to represent the sound over youtube, but just to hear a better representative quality of the recorded sound will go a long way.
