I can afford it but still I'd prefer to save 20k if I have the time to go to Dubai for atleast 2-3 days for a bit of holidaying. I mean I won't go and come back the same day just for getting the phone. I'll think of it as a free paid return ticket I'm getting to go to Dubai. But yeah if I can't find that time, then I'd get it from India.

You could even get a tax refund (5%)when you visit Dubai for visit visa and buy iPhone 15pro, and submit the bill at the Dubai airport on your return, also make sure to tell the store you are on visit visa and would require bill for tax refund 😊

Or you can simply wait a month or two and get it from the black market. There are plenty of stores in Delhi which will sell you a brand new iphone for 20-30k less brand new. You make travelling seem super easy and simple as if there won’t be any miscellaneous costs in between travelling. You always end up spending more than what you expect, no sane person would just jump out to another country just for an iPhone anyway, yes it’s hella expensive here but those who want it will buy it, convenience also plays a factor

They also sell fake iPhones which look very similar to the original iPhones. There are many videos on UA-cam which compare and tell the difference between the real and fake ones, as a normal person can't tell the difference between them.

Dubai official models facetime / video call options are blocked. If you buy those iphone video calls will not work. Even when you come to i dia it will not work. But in Dubai market, you also get iphones from Hongkong - there it will work but I a. Not sure about warranty when you buy hongkong iphones in normal dubai shops/ market.
Everything works.. I got the 14 pro dual sim just a month back.. FaceTime, video calls all work.. it depends on the region you’re in and not the iPhone.. Updates come as per the country..

USA Models are SIM Locked and you need to do country Unlocking or Jailbreaking. Dubai one is open SIM models

We've been seeing this Dubai thing for a long time now. I don't think so people who are ready to pay that much for a phone care about saving few thousand rupees by visiting to Canada. This is only applicable to people who cannot afford and buying on EMI, which they already can't do in Dubai.

In Malaysia it is even more cheaper, we got 15 Pro max 256gb
The family and friends thing is basically how we get any of our apple products. Two iPhones and both Macs were brought like that. Sooo much cheaper that way. Especially since you only have to pay the US price. Which is significantly cheaper than the Indian price.
Best is, if someone is coming from US then ask them coz the 15PM in USA the 256gb is 1lakh thats an 60k rupee discount... my brother just ordered one so if u have someone then you can too do that.

I have purchased iPhone 14 pro max on the 27th sept, the Flipkart Check out price showed Rs 1,11,000 without any exchange and offers, bank was charged Rs 92000
Now Flipkart is not responding , Amount has been deducted form my account,
Instead buy a 25-30k samsung or any other phone i swear it does all that an iphone could do and you will save 1,30,000 rupees is such a case
