Hi Saady Nice content in your videos, but I have a question and hopefully u could help, Regarding Slab Areas in relation with quantifying the Steel Reinforcement Total Weight, Usually I use AutoCAD with a macro called “Adjacent”, this allows me to take the area of an (IRREGULAR SLAB SHAPE - example slab is not square or rectangle shape), which in this case it will give me a length as Lx and width as Ly. Lx x Ly = the Area. Then I can utilize the Lx and Ly (which for sure will give me the correct area) and use the Lx and Ly to find the Total weight of the steel reinforcement of the slab in the long and short direction (one way or two way). Again, All of this is by using AutoCAD, However, In Planswift I need to find the same feature (Adjacent) in order to quantify the steel reinforcement weight accordingly. I’m hoping u have the solution for the same.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. Very soon I will make a video about reinforcement. Stay connected & I will suggest you watch my other template playlist. ua-cam.com/video/DatdUKX6UAQ/v-deo.html
Thanks for these amazing contents. I just have a question. Is it possible for a single take off (may it be linear or area) to have different parts at each segment? Let's say I want the total sqm of all slabs in the plan, but each or some differ in parts (material/ rebars). If so, could you make a tutorial video for it? Thank you, that would be a big help. An alternative would also be being able to add up different quantity take offs despite having different parts/ material.

Sir why we deducting column area from slab area
Because we measure column qty elsewhere
