Gustavo: You have done me a great favor by uploading this wonderful album from the late Sixties. I worked after school, but my sister would go home promptly to watch her beloved episodes of "Dark Shadows" and later she'd talk about the various characters from it. While in college I found this album in an F. W. Woolworth's (Five and Dime Store) bin of discounted records. I probably bought it for $1.39 -- what a steal as I was so delighted by its contents. This is a perfect album and so nice to have it available after all these years. Again -- many, many thanks! 7/2018
One of my first albums. Later I would deny that I liked it, but at the time I reverently watched Dark Shadows when I got home from school, and although this had a number of unrelated (and much-appreciated) songs - I memorized each melody and recall vividly each instrument - 50 years later! Thanks!
This would be the first record album I bought with my own money. I don't remember what I paid but I know I bought it at Woolworth. I think I had to write three neighbor's yards plus my own to get enough money, and that was probably less than $5. To be fair I probably spent most of the money on a hamburger milkshake and fries at the local diner
One of the prettiest tunes i have ever heard! I remember watching dark shadows every afternoon with my mom. Lord the memories..

In 1950 Grean wrote the hit "The Thing", which became a big hit for Phil Harris
Interesting fact. Thanks for the information.
