The estimated damage caused by the 'peacefull' protestors is estimated around 1,5 million euro. After being asked multiple times to leave and 2 persons beaten by protesters the police used violence. Which is allowed in that case.

More background information: The pro-Palestine protestors "liberated" / took control of university grounds on tuesday with blockades, set up tents and vandalized streets, like spray painting or taking bricks from the road/streets nearby and furniture to add to the blockades. They stayed there relatively peaceful until the police were tasked by the authorities to remove the blockades with wheel loaders and to remove the protestors, and they were met with resistance, several protestors were taunting and climbing the wheel loaders in an effort to stop it. After removing huge chunks of the blockades, the Mobiele Eenheid (a police force tasked with protecting the public peace) charged in and removed protestors from university grounds. I'm not certain when the clip was taken, but considering the description mentioned the UvA, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened shortly after being removed from the place. Source: I'm dutch and this whole thing was pretty much covered by all the big news channels here
Yes, these clips are from the Rokin where they went after the chaos at the university. Most of these people were from the "supporting" demonstration, but there were also people who had just been removed from the university. They were not arrested even after all that destruction there because this group was blocking the arrest buses (and vandalized and slashed the tires of one of them). So they were able to move here, where some people again started barricading the protest (this time with fences and building material from a random construction site) and throwing stuff at the police. This channel is just deliberately mischaracterizing it all. It's propaganda.

Even Amnesty at some point turned their back on the protesters, after they took it upon themselves to warn them to leave one last time. They wrote that the police missed opportunities to deescalate, but also that they've seen protesters use unacceptable violence. When even Amnesty is more positive about the police than about you, you messed up big time.
