Joining us this week is a very special crew of well-respected and talented Roboteers! John Mladenik of Gigabyte Fame has been contacted by a team unable to compete in this seasons Battlebots, and is thus tasked with the mission to form an UBER-team. Joining him in this mission are some very famous roboteers: Matt and Wendy Maxham from Battlebots "Stinger", and Micah "Chewy" Leibowitz who has teamed with both Battlebots "Wrex" and prior seasons of "Skorpios".
The team unable to attend Battlebots this season? None other than the fan favorite and super destructive vertical spinner "Cobalt"! Builder David Moulds sits down on a video interview with the team to discuss why he is unable to attend, and why he chose John Mladenik to form a team to give Cobalt the chance to appear on Battlebots this season.
While Battlebots has not finalized their selections for Season 6, the team is confident they have both the robot and personnel required to secure that coveted selection. If you agree, type in the comments "WE WANT COBALT!"

Matt is going to be driving Cobalt? This is awesome.
Anyone who doesn't know Matt Maxham is a killer driver hasn't been paying attention! Dude is a legend in his own right.
I hope they keep the Union Flag on the top. Just add the US flag on the opposite side, it would look amazing!
Now if only we got someone else to drive Stinger.

I saw the short of Matt doing "Driving practice" with a fan, thought to myself "hold on, what's happening here?" And this cleared up a lot of questions. So I'm glad that RDC is making sure Cobalt'll be in good hands and fingers crossed Matt and co brings it home for the UK.
Here's hoping that Cobalt have a solid "ramp" to lead bots to their weapon. Without that ramp, they pretty much lose their weapon. But let's go my second favourite bot.
