@@bacon9846 seriously? whoever has the lowest wedge without getting stuck on the floor wins. there's plenty of other factors at play but if I'm remembering right they are fairly similar in their maneuverability so whoever wins the wedge war has a MASSIVE advantage.
Actually, there's a pretty good chance that the BattleBots fight selection committee might make that happen. Neither bot occupies a 'special' position in the general scheme of things. To wit: both are expendable.
They were actually suppose to in battlebots 2019 (it was revealed in a Facebook video on the battlebots page where trey announced the first 3 session fights) but Brian nave wanted an easier opponent since he was like an alternative or something like that so he switched with subzero so we got cobalt vs subzero and captain shrederator vs wan hoo instead of the other way around. And Dave, the captain of cobalt, called Brian a chicken jokingly because of the switch.
If you're absolutely sure, Joel, you could avoid confusion by making it clear that you really meant what you'd said. So that'd be: "This robot is sick." [sic]. ;-)
@@Cirelgasp Likely just wanting to try something new, Gabriel has always worked with drum spinners, John with axes, so perhaps to try and expand their skills. May also have been a case of trialling gas systems in anticipation of the new Beta

Dammit, China, stop being so self centered and let us watch your robot fighting shows internationally.. at least these ones, you know, back when you guys still allowed international competitors.. before it became clear that since people from other countries kept winning, you were embarrassed by it, and stopped letting them compete at all...
All of King of Bots was uploaded on UA-cam by the channel that aired it, as was This is Fighting Robots. You also exaggerate a bit, the international competitor thing was a limit, not a full ban on them, and was enforced by the CCP, not the showrunners. I'm not sure there was a single such show without international competitors of any kind during the very brief stint robot combat existed in China for.

@@Frosty_tha_Snowman I looked it up and immediately found an episode with Tungsten. Dunno if it's region blocked where you're at but it's fine for me in the UK. And are you sure about King of Bots still airing? Because last I heard, the producer himself said they ran out of money, cancelled the show and scrapped the sets and arena.

Also, I've watched every single upload of King of Bots that I could find, and the only thing I found with Tungsten was some 15 minute long fight compilation that had 1 Tungsten fight in it. That is it. I've explored extensively looking for more episodes. I don't know, but I have a hard time finding them. Not speaking Chinese also doesn't help..
