Nice content! I'm currently watching with a cold right now in bed, and I'm feeling a bit glad that I can stay off school whenever I am sick, Hello from England!
I commend you, your brave indeed, i have a new sym joymax 300z+ i live in italy mostly the weather is good. I do not ride when it rains, once or twice in the past i got caught in the rain, not great riding. Keep up the good work
Hi Alex, nice & inspiring clip for riding in bad weather. Today I rode to the office (40 min for each way in the crazy traffic of Bucharest) benefiting from less rainfall. Thanks a lot for all the interesting videos from EICMA presenting us the news from the 2 wheels world ! Get well soon , Alex ! Best regards to you and to all your subscribers !
I also tasted the first snowflakes with my small 125cc scooter, I had to take the child to school, fill up the gas, do a little shopping and when I got home, I realized that I forgot something at the store, and I had to go back. With a little attention it is not really that dangerous in colder weather, taking into account that we do not reach supersonic speeds and that the traffic is blocked. Same Bucharest but west part :). I will continue to ride until is ice on the road
I commute all year in the uk. I suffered wirh bad waterproofs for year. Now I have thick ones that feel like rubber... also dry qucker. Worth every penny. I laughed at you struggling with getting your gloves under your jacket sleeves - so frustrating...
Well, I know this sounds weird, but, i truly love to ride in the rain. I don't know why, maybe for the smells, the challenge, the increased risk, I don't know. But I love it. 😁👍🇵🇹
Polish here. I wouldn't call it "lucky". Snow is horrible and annoying. Having to scrub car windows from frost, cold, slippery and dangerous roads etc. It may seem romantic for you, as you live in warm climate and don't lose half a year for winter/cold autumn.😢
Hello Alex! Sorry to hear that you are not well. Get better as soon as possible. You are a hero riding in this weather, but you should go with public transport, until you get better. Just an opinion. Thanks for the useful advices about riding in these conditions.😊 You are doing proper public service here. Be bad.
If the road isn't white I ride, although sometimes half way through the trip I second guess myself but usually by the time I reach my destination I'm happy I rode.
Yea I wear non heated thick winter gloves and find I have to move my left hand over to the indicator controls while trying to keep the clutch held down. For the visor u could apply wax to help the rain bead off the visor? And off the windscreen. They need to invent a heated visor cant believe they havent in 2024
On that day morning, when I saw how hard it was raining, and considering that I hate driving during day in Bucharest while also hating public transport, I left my PCX to keep resting under its waterproof cover in the hard rain and sleet, and I decided to take my full poncho and ride to work on my narrow foldable bike, from Vitan to Victoriei. Yes, during colder seasons I strongly recommend you to get a bike... yes, a bike (electric/non-electric, you decide). I personally mix riding to work between scooter and bike during every week. It'll definitely improve your health, weight, body movement, you'll get better training (as you said in the previous videos that you need to move more as you ride almost everywhere) and mood, especially in hard rain when all the traffic is stuck, Uber rates are crazy and it doesn't worth it. The same happened to me after I got my first "49 cc" (80cc) China scooter and realizing how much distance I could cover in the city with low costs (even if it was running on 4l for 100 km, but hey 🤷♂️🤣... better than nothing for a 400 Euro fully legal registered scooter at the time). I covered the distance in 35 minutes. With the PCX my record is of 17 minutes while regularly doing between 20 to 25 minutes, depending on the stop lights and how stuck I get or not. On the bike (let the haters begin), I skip the red lights whenever I can without disturbing anyone who has priority, skipping very narrow traffic jams on the wide sidewalks without ringing any pedestrian as they have full priority, going on the wrong way on one way roads... I'm like, as you say, "nothing to see here Mr. officer". The addiction to riding 2 motorized wheels has led me to concerning on how much was I moving my body as, after getting my reliable and very low fuel consumption PCX, I was literally riding even to the store, like 300 meters. That much I enjoy riding. So just start thinking about riding a bike, put some lights on it, a mirror to see in time if any idiot gets closer to you, you'll get used to the Bucharest traffic. It's not as bad as, let's say, 15 years ago. Not to mention that with this season you heat up while pedaling and don't have to dress like an astronaut. It's gonna' be hard the first week/2 weeks if you haven't ridden a bike seriously for years as the body and muscles will have to get used to such "tool", but after that, you'll be able to pedal many kilometers and feel no exhaustion, especially because Bucharest is mainly a flat city. It's just an opinion on how to better maintain your health in the long run while moving more and doing it in a useful manner while not having to get to the GYM (like biking to work/shopping/park etc.). Keep having safe rides and think about it 💪😊 ! I'd watch a video of you riding on a bike as BBT and many others do 😊 .
I've been riding bicycles since I was 4 years old, only gave them up for scooters and motorcycles about 5 years ago. I used to go to work by bicycle when I was still a courier for Fan Courier. We'll see in the future might return to bicycles again. I still have a Merida road bike on 28 inch wheels, front locking suspension and rear hard tail, 21 speed and disk brakes. Nothing special compared to what's on offer today, but it's light nimble and perfect for tarmac and city.
I also ride a motorcycle in all conditions, the difference is that on mine I have to worry even more about good protection because it's a Naked type motorcycle, a scooter always has more protection, especially for the feet. I had already seen heated gloves but I never bought them, I always thought that in a short time the heating would have problems and could be dangerous to a certain extent, so I wanted to ask if these were the first heated gloves you bought and what is your feeling about them? 💪👍
This is my first pair that I'm trying out, but I like them, I've had heated gear before, a vest and pants and had no issues with zapping even riding in the rain.
Hello Alex ,thanks for this video and others....i am from Greece an d i am thinking of buying this bike you are riding, actually i am between zontes E350 and sym AdX 300,which one you think is better as quality?
Well many reason. 1 - I like to check the time on my watch not pull out my phone out of my pocket 2 - I can check my notifications on my watch not pull out my phone every time 3 - I can keep my phone permanently on silent and have the watch vibrate when I'm getting a call 4 - Sleep tracking 5 - Monitor my heart rate and other vital signs just in case problems appear 6 - Monitor how much I move during a day to make sure I'm not getting too lazy. Donnie I hope to start working on him in the next 2 weeks.
@RideWithAlex my boy,you should also check how harmful and carcinogenic is the radiation of smart devices and bluetooth gear when being close to human body!
@RideWithAlex it is not radio waves but ionizing radiation...Something like the microwave oven waves but with lower energy which they cook our DNA if we are not aware!I am an Electronic Engineer and I studied this deadly stuff.
Airborne up, zinc, Vit C & even allergy pills 5 days in advance to relieve inner ear pressure, (especially when you’re flying)?! Get well soon. Best, Rola (Oregon / USA
When the passion for riding is greater than any weather obstacle
Have Fun , i lived n went to work in NYC for 30 years on my motorcycle , on snow storms good memories enjoy ♡
A true rider.

I told you if you get used to scooters when the cold weather comes you'll find a way to deal with the cold, put on more layers and keep riding :))
Hey i mean if the roads aren't flooded, you're good to go. Great job man, love your content 🙌
Thank you 😁
Winter certainly arrived early this year. I hope you feel better soon.
It's not like I have a choice, I have to get better =))
A small diesel car would be great for days like this. Riding in bad weather is not fun. Its why we moved from Ireland to Spain!
And now much of Spain is underwater. You’ll need an adventure bike to get through the roads in Malaga today
irish and british are everywhere

Yep, it's not that dangerous if your mindful of the grip levels and don't do stupid things.
Great video as usual Alex,
Stay safe
🙏🇹🇭

Early snow in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The Earth is resetting itself. Best wishes-Much love ❤️🍀⚔️💋
I think it's been well over 15 years since I've seen snow in early November.

Heated visor would be awesome, plenty of room in a helmet for a battery pack. Seriously why hasn't anyone done this 🙁
Perfect video as usual…you should try to put a bike blanket….!!!

Quality is tough to say, the zontes has to go through time to prove itself.
I'd invest in a motocycle bag cover things, I don't like rain on my seat personally!
Hey Alex! Why do you people wear a watch when you have your cellphone with you 24/7?😅
Any news with our friend Donnie?
Cheers and happy winter!
