It blows my mind how serene everything is between the photographer and the tornado. There’s no huge gusts of wind, no hail-just a normal view…except for a big tornado in the background.
And the birds chirping away
It’s because it ain’t real
Exactly, I dont understand tornadoes but im well acquainted with hurricanes… wind and rain and destruction everywhere
@@That_one_dog_ate_ur_hw
Prove it or shut up.
AI FAKE Tornado that's why obviously. About as real as next months new TWISTERS movie.
The person in the blue house now has the coolest photo of their house. I’d frame it lol.
Yep!! 😁 Awesome idea!
I was hoping it would not destroy that cute home! And the pretty poplar trees. Our house was painted that color once years ago when I was a kid. We also had the same trees so it brought back cool memories! Thank God it moved on!
Found it! I located it on Google Maps and sent the picture 😉
Agreed 👍🏻
Peaceful day otherwise😅
Excellent footage, no shaking, no talking, perfectly centred.
And most importantly,no screaming
That is because it is not real
@@roycarter6864 how do you know that ??
@@for-real-countrygirl4192Because I've been near a Tornado 🌪️. It came within 3 miles of my location and there was rain, lots of wind (105mph) (only an F1) and it was still bad enough to push someone to the ground. Look how close that Tornado is. No rain? The wind is barely moving the tree branches? FAKE!👎
@@ClarkGreaseball yeah you're right.
A SIDE ROLLER A RARE SIGHT IN TORNADOS, EVEN MORE RARE IN CANADA! GOOD CATCH!
@gregalan8333 • I hate to ask, but please explain what a "side roller" is?
I actually lost my home here living in the Northwoods of Minnesota due to a tornado. All I remembered seeing minutes before it hit, was a whitish cloud overhead against the black sky.
@@JamesJohnson-ig6of nature uses black to warn you of danger
se acha isso bonito é ? vai pra lá ent kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Tornadoes actually form horizontally before going vertical.
@@jimhovater8755 Just this late pm we had a taste of severe weather here in the Northwoods of Minnesota, only 40 miles South there were reports of 105mph winds in a fast-paced storm. Hail and wind damage with tornadoes in the upper eastern corner of the state. Nothing right here tho.
Rare case when portrait mode is the correct orientation. Well done.
Absolutely incredible 😲. I thought it was coming straight towards you at one point 😬
I always heard that if a tornado looks like it isn’t moving, it’s heading right at you.
@@Thomas-xm5ymor away from you. I think in here it was moving away from them
The birds chirping make it really creepy.
And the thunder in the background. The stuff of nightmares.
They should use this view in a movie.
They always do, especially after a highly damaging tornado. Sun comes out, and birds sing amidst the devastation.
I agree. Robins aren’t smart but they sure are cheerful
Really, why? Isn't that a good sign?
Good grief......that would be a downright scary thing to see out your window! 😮😮😮
And the question would be- Do you have a basement in your house ?
I subscribed, because, you didn't SCREAM, YELL, CRY, VOMIT, FART, BURP, DANCE AROUND WITH THE CAMERA, LOOSE FOCUS ON WHAT YOU WERE FILMING or the most annoying of them all you didn't YELL ' OH MY GOD ' 2OO+ TIMES....
So Thank You for an excellent video....reporting!
😂😂yes! That’s how they are too! Unfortunately. But you’re right, an amazing video for sure!
Yeah everyone should ONLY be concerned about UA-cam clicks when a life threatening weather event shows up in their world.... Douchebag. 🙄

We're Canadian, our demeanor is more subdued.
Now you know why Americans are described as loud in the rest of the world.

@@abelis644😅😅 great observation.
That is absolutely gorgeous! 😍
I hope everyone is safe, and it didn't cause too much damage.
Everybody is OK
Stationed in OKC, OK in 1977. Came home and across a schoolyard field, witnessed a 3 sided front collapse a 100 yds away. Funnel forms and elevates over my head, so I can look up into vortex...a violet tube. Wife is yelling at me to get inside...nope...had to get back to base to report it, aid coordination and document. Can't forget that color.
When you say 'color' do you mean glowing green sky? I saw that once in Houston as a school next to us got hit by a very small tornado.
He said violet tube.
@@douglasstemke2444Green is very common due to the heavy precipitation in the clouds - had not heard of voilet before but that also sounds terrifying

Impressive and scary at the same time 😬

An interesting fact: In Alberta the geography between Calgary and Edmonton is called "tornado alley" as well, an extension of the USA alley. Some of the most devastating tornadoes in Canada have occurred in that area.
I’m in North Carolina and we get EF1 and rarely a 2. Does your area get larger tornados like the alley in the states?
@@Robsay01 Yes, EF2's are common, EF3's are not rare; there have been several EF4's (the worst one killed 27 people and injured 250 in an Edmonton mobile home park - tornadoes seem to love mobile/trailer parks). There was an EF4 last year.
1997 Elie Mb, EF5 . Thankfully, no one was hurt.
@@lylux4985 It was 2007. But yes, the 1st EF5 in Canada (as far as since valid records kept). I am sure there were some F5's way back a 100 years ago , but not much reporting or measurements.
@@lylux4985 It was 2007. Yes the 1st ever F5 (that we know of) in Canada. It is almost certain that in the earlier years in Canada there would have been a few F5's, but in those days there was no good reporting or measurements.
The tornado is like "How yall doing?, I'm just cruising through don't mind me" lmao
😅😂
Lmao
Great camera work. I'm not a fan of vertical filming but in this case, it was a spectacular video. Keep up the good work!
Good footage! And unlike most tornado videos there’s no incessant screaming like a bunch of little girls. I’m glad you’re all safe
I agree!👍👍
Because its fucking cool.
Well guess we ALL can't be superman
That was a stunning and mesmerizing tornado...WOW...thanks for posting that one !!
It’s got a landspout look
it was definitely way too big to be a landspout this was a true Twister ;)
It is a landspout, it was like tops 20C that day.
The weather network referred to it as a land spout.
My thoughts exactly. Long and snakelike but to be respected. Looks wider at the bottom due to debris.
That's what I was wondering, too. The dark looking cloud behind it was throwing me off.
And kudos to the camera woman (or man) for providing footage that didn’t jitter and jive
Or scream and yell unnecessarily

That twister 🌪️ is terrifying!
Wow Thankyou, it’s so crazy how everyone can go about their lives whilst there is a giant stomping around outside potentially about to destroy your house or at least destroying someone’s life. It’s mad how everything can be so peaceful and totally destructive at the same time.

looks like a landspout as there doesn't seem to be a supercell or even thunderstorm involved and it has that tell-tale flared base and smooth, even rotation. look up landspouts and you'll see what i mean.
I think so too. Also someone said the weather network was calling it a landspout.
Sick video! I hope everyone’s ok
That's beautiful and terrifying at the same time 👏 👏 👏
This one is a beauty! 😳
😳
That's a lovely blue paint colour on that house.
Right color blue, tornado did not touch it.
Are you sure that's a tornado? Looks like a landspout to me, which is a type of tornado. I don't see a mesocyclone.
Could you elaborate on those concepts? Sounds interesting.
THANKS FOR SHARING!
Beautifu tornado. One of the best videos I have seen in a while.
This is the part you start praying that tornado goes the other direction and not your direction.
About 160 miles from Calgary. That's close enough thanks.
Correct me if I’m wrong, this is not a tornado but a land spout. A very big and smooth one, but looking it up it seems to fit the description. The rotation at the bottom is big but not high wind speed no real debris in the air. This is consistent with land spout. It’s very smooth and impressive looking.
It looks like a landspout. However landspouts are still considered to be a tornado. They usually form at the edge of a thunder cloud due to the mixing of cold and warn air and hence little down or updraft. Tornados or rather super cellular tornadoes are from a powerful mesocyclones and are much more powerful, when there is a rapid exchange of air between the cloud and the ground. Dust devil's go upwards, usually on hot dry days, and normally are much weaker. Dust devils are not a true tornado.
@@malcolmabram2957 ok good to know. The reason I looked it up is because it did look CGI as people were suggesting so I was trying to differentiate.
@@it5190 Pleasure, have a great day.
You are wrong. In Canada , it's a tornado. It happened in Canada, it's a tornado. An American Howard B. Bluestein coined the phrase landspout in the 80's. That term is not recognized by Environment Canada, USA meteorologists making up words on a whim. Even in Canada and USA, they are coming up with these fancy "politically safe" names for weather events. Whatever happened to the "Pineapple Express"? Now they call it an "Atmospheric River". Whatever happened to the "Omega Block"? Now they call it a "Heat Dome". Time for meteorologists to unite and reject these political names and get back to what is was called before.

It's not like you're gonna have close calls twice a week in the summertime lol. I've lived in tornado alley all my life and have yet to see one and I'm old.
That’s a beautiful twister!
Really videogenic that one. Tornados are electrical in nature. Studies are published daily on the magneto-dielectric causal forces of all major natural phenomena, including volcanic and tectonic activity. Interesting times we live in.
Why do you bother to waste 30 seconds to post jibberish nonsense? Is your life that boring? Probably
Love how that truck slowly drove by like a tornado wasn't close to him 😂
Tilted tornado is definitely rare let alone in Canada. Wow!
You kids stop playing with that haarp weather machine.

Mother Nature Never Loses Suction. Kidding aside. What a weird tornado.
What’s that in your back yard? Oh! That’s a tornado. Don’t worry though, it’s fenced in.
Ahhh brilliant, fence the tornados in so they don’t damage anything,.we need more fences in Kansas..
😂😂😂😂
That's the most chill tornado I've ever seen, eerily quiet, got the birds chirping and all that like it's just a normal day.
Looks just as if someone forgot to turn off his gigantic vacuum cleaner... Amazing!!! I love this video!!!!
Prayers to those involved. I've lived through a couple of those and theyre terrifying
Absolutely stunning
What a gorgeous landspout! Doesn't seem like it ever destroyed anything, judging from the lack of debris, and it looked super pretty too! Those are the best kind of whirlwinds, the ones that arrive and leave without ruining peoples' lives, and look cool while doing it!
I live on the Arkansas and Oklahoma border in the USA, the very definition of Tornado Alley. I'm over 70, and seen a lot of tornados on the ground, both on radar and in person.
But that monster has to be the slowest in forward motion ever. It just kept on grinding everything to a pulp. Down here they hit like a train running over a go-cart, and on to the next house.
I've had my house depart from the basement once, and the screeching nails and splintering wood, the breaking glass and overall thumps and bangs of destruction, seemed to last for half an hour, though it was really less than a full minute. I can't image feeling that monster for what must have seemed hours.
I hope everyone came out safe. And only mildly traumatized. ✌️
That is incredible!
❤❤❤❤❤That is SOOOOOO weird. ❤❤❤❤❤
Hard to believe that something so wickedly dangerous, can also be so beautiful. Extraordinary video and thanks for not talking all through it. 👍👍
Awesome power of nature.

Kind of beautiful in a way, yet also terrifying for what it can do. Great footage. Hope nobody was hurt!
It looks like the video is only playing at half speed. Is life the calmest tornado I've ever seen.
The cameraman started filming because he heard the cameraman never dies.
What a tube!
You think that's a tube? Huh! You should ask my bosses wife. Nah, just kiddin
Remarkably scary yet calming to watch , amazing video capturing tornado behaviour . 👍
Wowzers! Woahhhhh..What totally awesome footage of this beauty!!
Very strange tornado. Theres no inflow or outflow of wind and no noise. Reason why it is windy when tornadoes is near is because of the high pressure and low pressure of the hot and cold air fighting to take each others place, this causes wind weither if there is a tornado or not.
Great vid.
Amazing footage, hopefully noone injured!
Thats a beautiful photogenic tornado there
There was very little wind. The trees were barely moving. Not sure this isn’t AI.
It was a huge landspout, that’s why. UA-cam other videos of it

Not different in Canada... this is fake... those evergreen trees waaay in the background are not even wiggling... smh 🙄
Very amazing video. You kept your cool and somehow did not run for the hills, (like I would have).
Wow so far north!! 😮what a beautiful tornado!
Is that a landspout?
Seems like a pure tornado
I used to think that Canada was too far North to have those things! WOW!

Alberta and Ontario have a good amount of tornados.
B.C doesn't even get lighting. Seriously, ive never seen lighting in my 23 years here.
Sorry to say ,but we are getting them more than we want to ...
With the massive size of this thing, the closeness of it, how smooth the tornado is flowing, and the cars driving near it are driving so casual, I was thinking CGI. Well, since this was posted by a reputable storm chaser channel, it's definitely real and I'm shocked on so many levels.
I’m still not convinced it’s not edited in.
@@bethspindler8880yeah me neither. It’s definitely a good fake. Very convincing. But they should have filmed the outside footage on a windy day. Unless it’s a land spout perhaps 🤔. Jury is still out on this one but I suspect it’s CGI.
lol no one would be motivated or have the money to do CGI that good for a You Tube video. We aren’t that good yet. I looked up land spouts and this is definitely one. It is a big and smooth looking one at that. I can tell by the speed of rotation near the ground the lack of debris in the air and the surroundings. But the foreground and details in the video make it clear it’s not fake
