The Eclipse - After Effects Space Scene

I have been messing around in After Effects for a few days trying to hone in my sci-fi vibes.
in doing so I've gravitated (hehe) towards making planets and animating movement and such.
today I think I hit a break through,
by adding 2 layers of stars, and screening the top layer, I can add the "Bulge" effect to the screened layer which allows me to create what looks like a gravity field, which to me adds realism to a shot made of just 2D pngs.
