- A 32-year-old man has completed a groundbreaking feat by slacklining across a 100 metre long rope 224 metres high amongst the Dubai skyline.
Jaan Roose's walk between the Jumeirah Emirates Towers marks the start of the city's 1 Billion Followers Summit.
It is expected around 15,000 influencers and content creators will participate in the event, which is marketed as the largest content creator expo in the world.
Thankfully it was not a groundbreaking feat.
Ha! Ground breaking. I see what you did there. 😂
Those views of Dubai are stunning. But I would prefer to see it while standing on a solid building.
He looks like many Australians who are walking the economic tightrope due to Albonomics
Canadians also :/
You’d have to be missing a few brain connections to attempt something like this.
Nah, he's on a harness.
As my biggest fear being heights, this literally makes me sick to my stomach! My absolute nightmare
Australia and Qatar export about the same amount of gas, but Qatar earns $29 billion and Australia $800,000 in tax and royalties.
Qatar smart.
Australia is another jewl in the crown
like Albo attempting to win another term in government
😆😆😆
2 weeks from now and no one will remember his name. 😆
I dont remember now, still it was pretty cool feat
Charles Darwin taking notes
Man it takes a lot of courage to walk that thin line 224 meters high. He was also wearing a harness.
Imagine that drone hits the rope
A bird would be worse
These people should do prison time for risking their lives and influencing others to do it just for social media celebrity gain.
He has a leash attached to himself
@@Prognosis__ Karen saw the video. Karen put her own fears and beliefs in front of someone displaying great skills and fearlessness. The lad did not have a mother like Karen.
Show someone without a harness or dont show it at all.
I’m pretty sure at that height, even Philippe Petit would be wearing a harness.
Philippe Petit did it first. Well, with the twin towers. Not entirely sure of the height difference between the two towers and Dubai’s towers. Or the difference in between distance/length of the tight rope. Still impressive regardless.
Edit- oh damn. They are almost twice the height. 👀 Philippe Petit needs to do like an interview or podcast with this guy.
Good thing it didn’t happen in Australia eh or he’d be arrested.
Better balance than the ALP budget.
Why the safety harness though?
I mean, he's trying to save his life, escaping Communist Tyranny, RIGHT.?.? (No other reason, I could see, to be doing something like that.) 😮
Imagine Christmas in his household, "You know what I had to do, to get the money for that PS5.?.? You think money falls from the sky, well, I almost fell from the sky." 😂
GOT TO BE INSANE
He had a safety rope attached to the wire…………………..
Sure, it’s content worthy. 3 seconds of reel time on tiktok
Is that smog?
That is just crazy.
Remind me of the 1974 Academy Award Winning movie Towering Inferno.
I can do that, I just choose not to.
Tomorrow is don't buy a newspaper day
But you won’t show us the footage when they fall and get pancaked into the concrete below 💁♂️
Show the epic fails that happen and give people a dose of reality
Makes my legs go funny.
What a woose, he has a safety line.😂🤣
An ad for kids to have BB guns?
This shouldn’t be allowed
In America we do it without the safety harness. This isn't special at all
You do it, do you?
Great work mate.
What happened again 😂
Free your mind, Neo . . .
I watched it live so scary 😨 I can't try this
No harness otherwise its pointless anyone could do it with time
Petit between the towers no net no life line..
Its not as impressive with safety lines.
Care factor = 0
Untethered and without a parachute, reminds me of dynamo walking on water without Jesus.
He is tethered from his waist
Why don't you give it a try, cooker?
How did dynamo do the water walk?
Lock him up
