Met you at EDC during John O'Callaghan set! This is absolutely breath taking! Thank you for uploading this and sharing it with all the Prydz fans out there! You are awesome Chris! hope to see you at a show again some time! :)
Simply amazing!! I'm a piano newbie and therefore nowhere near ready to play this myself but would love to see the sheet music. Do you have this please?
excellent job, sounds amazing and thanks for doing it in the right key. so many derps out there who don't know how to play it in the same key.. which is... in my opinion essential for this piece.
You needed to have included the drop in the song - I know it's not easy when you can't add drums to it, but you could have had someone standing to your left playing the bass tones at where the drop normally is to create that dynamic difference. If you listen to the original song, it has a bass that starts from the main tone, then goes down, then down, then up, and back up again - if you know what I mean
Thank you for the kind words! I'm afraid don't really have the right setup for a tutorial video, but its a pretty simple pattern. The only thing that changes is you play it faster, then slower. :)
I found it very interesting! I didn't expect this would be something I would record because I thought the repetition would limit what I could do with it. Frankly, I thought it would be boring. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I was able to influence the movement of the piece by really only adjusting the accent notes. I just started working on Pets by Deadmau5, be sure and subscribe so you don't miss it!
This pretty much is a tutorial, it's just the same 6 patterns repeated for the entire song. The only thing that changes is the speed and volume. If you learn the patterns from the beginning where it's nice and slow, it should be easy to follow. Just repeat that pattern and get faster and faster until you can't go any faster, then gradually play it slower.
@@jorgeramos9027 I'm a self-taught pianist, so I can tell you with confidence that the best way to learn piano (without taking lessons) is to learn to play by ear. You can do it, I believe in you. The beginning of the song is so slow, you just gotta match the notes you play to the notes you hear. Practice makes perfect!
Sorry, i'm trying to play piano only first week, and tried to pick up notes for your cover: 1) F# - A - C# - F# 2) F# - A - C# - A 3) F# - A - D - A 4) A - D - E - A. 5) D - A - _ - _ 6) _ - _ - _ - _ Am i right or skip something? Could you correct me?
I can check when I get back to my piano (I don't read music) but the pattern is 6 different 4/4 measures repeating so you need 2 more than you have written.
Christopher Lilly You nailed Opus anyway! Subscribed in anticipation to see how you get on with Strobe in the future. Definitely worth a shot! Sounds unreal on the piano. Nice work though :)
@@adamkeighley7435 actually I remembered the real reason I didn't do Strobe. Evan Duffy. That dude nailed it. Anything I posted would just be worse. Look it up, he also did an acoustic performance of "7" which is absolutely amazing.
Some people are just so talented! What a masterpiece! Thanks for sharing

hey man, where did you get the sheet music if you don't mind me asking :)
There's no sheet music, the papers on my piano are just lyrics for other songs I'm working on.
Reeealy deep tonality ... did you put some extra reverb / post editing?
Awesome btw
Luigi de Franceschi Fiamoncini - no editing was done other than EQ. All my videos are "live".
Brilliant

Fantastic!! Do you have piano sheets for this amazing piece of music??
Eric prdyz opus. You don't really need sheet music. Just need to memorize a set of notes and work your speed up.
OMG... love this..

@@ChristopherLillyPiano can I buy the chords sheets please 🙏🙏 you’re awesome!
@@noyraland there's no sheet music for this AFAIK, sorry!
What'd you think of playing the song?

Bello 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Great work! Please, what's the chords?
Damn good work. Your hands must have been really tired after this
Thanks, it's a ton of fun to play! And no, my hands weren't tired. 😀
Tbh, u didn't really need to use the sustain pedal for the beginning. It would've sounded better if you used it when it gets faster.
Try adagio for strings
Would you do a tutorial of how to play it?

Can you do a tutorial of the patterns? Im learning how to play piano by my own and its a bit hard

Just miss some bass to enphatize more the piano.
Taking that is perfect
I’ll pay for the chord sheets!
hey ! awesome can you send me your email i want use your sample !!!!!
:)
Have you ever had a bash at Strobe?
Actually yes! Strobe is really complex, though and I never got good enough at it to want to record. It probably deserves another try. 😉
