@@TiagoCatarino I think I speak for most if I say we actually would really like it if you made the videos longer to cover even more from your point of view as a designer!
Dareth's cast is actually just a piece of cloth used to clean the cups since he is a bartender. And I think that the new black and green piece is actually from the Minions
Ironically, the Ninjago City sets were always too colorful for me and that’s why I don’t like them that much optically, but the building techniques they have to offer are amazing!
as a proud owner of city gardens, the ninja go city sets are gems. beautiful to look at, great prices, lots of minifies, and (mostly) a fantastic building experience
@Tiago Catarino Fun fact the actual term for that style of gate is called a Torii, and they are most commonly found at or near the entrance to Shinto shrines in Japan. They are meant to symbolize the transition from mundane to sacred.
I think I'll eventually have to get this. I didn't realize there is actual 'piping' for the toilet, as it travels quite far away from the actual toilet which is cool. But maybe there could've been a hint of some kind of purifier where it returns clear bricks instead of waste right into the river lol.
As a big LOTR-fan I really agree about the value. Love Ninjago for the Cyperpunk/future-feel. Ninjago is imagination. Liscenced themes like Star Wars is nice on the shelf. But bulding a city or Ninjagocity is really cool.
I'm so glad I got the original Ninjago city set when it came out. Despite the pretty big size and price, to me it still is the very best lego set ever. The diversity, amazing techniques, building pleasure, displayability and just sheer volume make it a work of art. And so are the other sets in this subtheme. Although I have no interest in Ninjago whatsoever, these sets are my most prized possesion in my lego collection that spans over 40 years.
I wish I'd gotten into Ninjago, they have really nice city-scape sets. Came too late for me youth-wise and the bigger sets came too early for me disposable-income wise.
3:39 this isn’t a new piece, it was used for Otto’s hair (Lego Minions) Oh yea forgot to say, the piece with the trident at 5:43 is from Lego Atlantis. I love how they bring back a 2011 piece to a 2023 set
I was already excited for it...but Ninjago City Markets looks effin' bananas. So many mechanical play functions, nice parts usage, clever building techniques, and hidden/fun references. Looking like this is going to be the set of the year for me for sure.
What I love about these large NINJAGO sets is that every time they do a black awning, they're using different pieces and building techniques. Whether it's cleavers, prybars, doors, shields. The NINJAGO team is constantly pushing themselves to do something unexpected.
I was worried about the cable car because the official marketing barely showed it - I thought they lacked confidence in it. Turns out that it's really clever!
I am building it right now. Great set for any ninjago fan and anyone into japanese culture. ( i got it on my birthday on 17 dec. I was begging my parents for months)
I constantly love Tiago's reviews. I keep learning about new parts, colors, npu's, etc. Make me smarter amongst my Lego bro's. And the chicks dig my knowledge too ;) THANKS TIAGO!
9:06 I think the reason for that is because it’s not licensed by a different company. It’s licensed by Lego and they can sell it for a little bit cheaper.
Lego factor in the licensing fees across all their lines of products They sell Star Wars, city etc for an exorbitant price because they know customers will buy regardless of quality (cough cough windshield/glass pieces)
My young grand daughter has this set. She bought it herself with money she earned from her first job in her chosen field of study ; cooking . I'm so proud of her for all that .
I’ve been outdated with,LEGO recently because I can’t connect to their shop. But now when I see this, it looks smaller than Ninjago city gardens but somehow it has more pieces. It’s nice, maybe one summer I’ll get this set
This looks great. I just love such city sets, though I just don't have the room to display them. I'm a bit surprised they didn't use pink frogs for the sakura tree. XD
I am sure since ninjago is a Lego IP, they don't have to pay for the IP usage, so they can sell the sets for cheaper. the recent releases and weird pricings for different sets confirm it quite well
@@TiagoCatarino I agree, there are really good sets out there from other IPs, I was just saying, that the price/piece is not always worth it. I wouldn't buy rivendell, but it is because I am not into LoTR, on the other hand I have a lot of cars/buildings that has the IP tax on them.
Hey tiago! I'm on your video right now to save it in my history. I have saved up for this set and plan on getting it on June 1st. I will watch this video after I build it. I assume it is a great video though!
I dont like the borg industries building. It feels like its at the wrong scale. Compare all the houses which fit so much to the tiny office that feels like its barren. It really could have used more space
Wow! This set is even more impressive than I thought! I just bought the Gardens, but once I can save more money, I'll definitely get this one. I also have the original city, so I would just need the docks, but wow, those are pricey. That goat poster! Love it! Nice meta idea
Luckily for you, the City, Gardens, and Markets look awesome together from what I've seen. And Docks kinda doesn't fit in any of the config options other UA-camrs have shown off

This toilet mechanism reminds me my Lego sets of pirates from 1996 with some erupting volcanos, catapulting traps and things like that.
Is it worth the price tag? Which would you say is better, the gardens or markets??
That bionicle reference is fire
Nice pun

The techniques and parts usage in this is insane!

They finally made a working Lego toilet 👏 bravo bravo.
It's $100 cheaper because it's LEGO's own IP. All the huge sets have IP costs built in, but LEGO owns Ninjago.
This reminds me of Wano Kuni with the sakura tree on top 😊
