In his book, Herbert Goldstein, talking about violation of both (strong and weak) force of interaction, says that Biot-Savart law may indeed violet both and uses the phrase " Consider, further, two charges moving(instantaneously) so as to " cross the T", i.e., one charge moving directly at other, which in turn is moving at right angles to the first. The second charge exert a nonvanishing magnetic force on the first, without experiencing any magnetic rection force at that instant. " ( Classical Mechanics By Herbert Goldstein, 3rd Edition, page 8). Could you help me out with this line?
