Good job Vince! And thank you!
Thanks a lot, Vince! As always you delivered your presentation at best level. A really great help of information for people who cannot be physically present at MIAS like me. 👋👋👋
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for sharing...
BYD booth awesome!
best video of MIAS, very informative and all in summary
Glad you liked it!
Great job for this presentation Vince!
Glad you liked it!
No Toyota and Honda because they’re in a different group - CAMPI. With Nissan, Mazda, BMW, Isuzu, Kia, Mitsubishi. Separate car show, the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS)
Was wondering about this. Thank you.
They did show Nissan though...
3 of them are in MIAS though
I AGREE
Ah okay, that explains it. Good job bruh! Enjoyed your vlog!
Great job, Vince!
Foton Thunder’s front fascia reminds me of the Toyota Conquest.
I love MG
Raptor..! 💪👏😍🔥❤️🙏
Thank you for this, Sir! Feels like I just went to the MIAS personally :D I just noticed the flock of chinese brand cars in the MIAS and it looks like they are not just here to take part, they are here to takeover :D
Do you really think the world cares which car company takes over the Phils? The universe does not revolve around your country, lol.
Nice presentation. Thank you.
Nice
Thanks
7:41 "they have the MG5"
*clip shows GAC GN6*
great presentation
I really want the Chery full hybrid cause it's a 7 seater
VERY VINSH!
GWM Cannon is a mix of Toyota Hilux and Isuzu D-Max.
Gugutomin ka talaga nyan boss! Great review, by the way.
SUV and Crossover are different, they are not the same. Omg
Great presentation and choice of background music!
Thanks for watching
This is mostly a Chinese auto show, missing are the big brand like toyota and honda! All these Chinese brands are really good with a reasonable price, how reliable they are is a million dollar question.
9:31✌🏼
Did Vince shed weight by the end of the video? Thanks for the glimpse of the units on display!
Dunno. But he did do 15k steps that day 🤣
10:00 finally, BYD. May slight price reduction pala sa Dolphin, 1.7M na ngayon, 1.8 dati. Still too pricey considering 0% tariffs and 1M lang ito sa China. edit: yung Ioniq 5 din, ganda. mahal lang din. last time ko narinig, nasa 3.8M
How long is the auto show go for? Thanks
What’s the small white hatchback on the thumbnail?
awesome video, Vince and Autoindustriya. Would you know why there is no Toyota, Honda, Mazda?
They have their own show. Philippine international motor show (PIMS)
I hope the government does more to help the transition to EV in the Philippines, especially in the cities where the air pollution is a killer.
Would be better if mentioned the price
Hyundai Ioniq 6 resembles Porsche 911. Hope that Hyundai will bring the Ioniq 6 here in the Philippines.
What happened to GM?
Which models are the prettiest Vince? ... I meant the cars😁✌️
I certainly hope Vince talked to some of the booth models. 😂😂😂
No participation of TMP? Honda? Mazda? 🤔
Is Tesla available in d Philippines now?
Walang Toyota and Honda?
Toyota, Honda & Mazda?
GX3 Pro will compete against Kia Stonic and Toyota Raize.
No toyota, kia and honda, also mazda?
12:38 Hmmm yes yes, interesting....
Gusto ko mag Full EV. Kaya lang sa kalsada lang ang parking ko.
Pag isipan ko muna
Been a regular patron of the mias starting way back when I was 9 in 2000 when they were at the ccp complex. But to be honest, these last few years before covid it started to be a bit of a disappointment. I havent seen the last one but from the feedback I got, it seems that I did not miss anything because it was essentially just a Chinese car showroom. This year didn't really improve much it seems.
No Toyota and Honda?
Ford should bring the Next Gen Raptor to the Philippines.
good thing i didnt go there the line up are interesting except for the subarus
where's toyota and honda??
Still a die hard Japanese brand. They last with min problems.
4m is eighty thousand dollars
Jetour is getting alot of eyes, their stuff looks interesting ill give them that(and people say that Chineese brands dont resonate with ordinary people).
If the BYD Dolphin costs 1.7 mil, what does the Tang cost?😮
I still like the Alsvin its a good looking sedan for the lower end of the market.
the Empow is a looker and honestly between that and the MG GT, its a coin flip for me.
Nissan was e powered meh.
im looking forward to the GWM reviews especially the pricing.
hyundai was showing their either overpriced or ridiculously expensive lineup.
Liked and subscribe too fellow vloggers
interestingly, no Toyota and Honda at the MIAS 2023
The have their own auto show. PIMS
Wow.. No Honda!?! Now That's new..... I guess Honda isn't that big in the Philippines. I wonder why
0:27 is that the latest Ford Raptor?
One thing I noticed in this presentation is that the Chinese automakers has generally better aesthetics than Japanese automakers.
Ang mahirap sa EV sa Pilipinas hindi mo puede ibiyahe ng malayo dahil kung kung maubos ang battery saan ka mag recharge?
nothing new from maxus?
why doesnt honda join the mias?
CIAS xD
Wheres my tesla?! Haha
GAC chinese brand the toyota honda killer
mias? or more like chias 🤣👍
I don't think the Philippines is ready for electric cars. It requires electric charging stations in every major street or major neighborhood with these stations & well-established shopping districts & malls. It took us years here in the States to build these electric charging stations located in every shopping mall, Supermarkets, Freeways etc.
What do you mean NO Engine? It has an Engine it is an Electric ENGINE it has NO combustion Engine.
Who would want ev in phil with the highest electricity rate? Not practical in Phil. In other countries, yes
For those with solar panels, this would be considered free “fuel” 😊
Having all those EV's on display from mostly Chinese auto companies seems like a joke. Philippine brown outs still prevail and cost per kWh is one if the highest in the world. Just like here in the USA electric vehicles are a hard sell due to limited infrastructure and higher cost per unit compared to gasoline powered cars. Won't buy one knowing the problem of where to charge on a long trip.😂😂
MIAS being dominated by Chinese vehicles which we seldom hear. Ho hum
Ah the chinese invasion
It could be deceiving. Watch out.
ang daming chinese brands
The lack of sedans and hatchbacks are concerning, 3 gas gargling SUVs displayed for each brands lol. I'd probably just stick to subaru.
I saw Subaru model at the Podium. It's a bit out of my price range unfortunately
Its what the market wants. People either want the higher ground clearance to deal with rough roads, a more versatile trunk or as a status symbol(sometimes all three). In any event the show wasnt bereft of sedans, most manufacturers who have sedans in their lineup brought them to the show including BYD with the HAN that most markets dont get so it wasnt all bad.
@@mindfreeze0838 What the market wants is affect by what the market is made of and most of them say the reasons you mentioned, 2 of them are arguable and the "status symbol" only remains true, I have no problem with getting a car as a status symbol, as long as it doesn't waste fuel with it's completely needed 2-3L engine, long body that takes ages in making a u turn(and parking), and scary big frame that makes me not want to walk on sidewalks.
Most of the SUV owners don't even drive outside the city anyways.
A station wagon would be better for carrying,
Our Ford Fiesta is completely fine despite being driven through unpaved roads weekly.(It's our little rally car)
Hopefully these chinese companies do make good quality cars. Give Ford and Hyundai a reason to bring back their small lineups.
nothing new in this event' all the same not like in thailand here in our country so boring normal cars
NO TOYOTA AND HONDA, time wasted
lots of Chinese cars with beautiful facades but low quality
fake Acura emblem lol
The problem with Chinese cars is the reliability/quality. Doubtful.
How do you know. Have you owned one?
BTW, 5.6 million Toyota Vehicles were recalled two years ago for faulty fuel pumps. I've also owned several VIOS for taxis and the Aircon is weak and the model year I got heats up easily and burns more fuel.
@@robocop581 I have a business partner who bought Foton track and a neighbor who bought Foton blizzard pick up, and just after few years they are in trouble.
@@JosephHoggang-bk4bk So what? VIOS suck
You should buy Filipino cars. They’re the best
The problem with Toyotas is they sell cars with tech from 2010, can't you see that Toyota and other Japanese cars don't really make an effort in the PH market because of die hard fans? Toyota with dinosaur tech (you should see Toyotas in other markets, the ones in PH are literal trash), mazda with 6 months waiting time or more, Honda also with supply issues. You clearly are not in the market for new cars, just continue buying second hand Toyotas dude
The world is being flooded now with Chinese EV cars, so many weird names and models sprouting every month. I'm confused already and wondering what will happen to the automotive industry those who invested billions and billions of dollars then suddenly they'll get bankrupt because of the Chinese competition . One day only the Chinese car maker will survive because their prices are a lot cheaper than the Japanese and Korean car. CHINA PA MORE.😀 😂
Junk cars…
Good Info, pero tiwala ba kayo sa mga Chinese Product. Parts and service ng mga Ching copycat , Technology at ang mga Train na mechanico. BTW kung bibili ng EV magdadala kapa ng generator.. Kulang sa EV station or meron ba...
In 2023, China's semi-annual automobile export volume will surpass Japan and rank first in the world. Ten years ago, China's automobile industry was inferior. Chinese people did not like cars made in their own country. However, with the development of new energy vehicle technology, With the development of China's automobile industry, more and more Chinese people are choosing domestically produced cars. There are also many excellent cars in China, such as the Changan UVI-V model, which sells for only ₱750,000, such as BYD, Jikrypton, Great Wall, and Hongqi. If you are interested in other brands, you can learn more about them.
Many people in the comment area dislike or reject it. Just like the Chinese four or five years ago, they would question new energy. No one is willing to step out of their comfort zone and choose fuel vehicles. This is understandable. The Philippine government has also introduced many policies on new energy vehicles for electric vehicles. This is the future trend. How to charge and build charging station base stations is something that the government and automobile manufacturers should consider.
