For some reason, I feel like although having fewer entity encounters, the sequel was scarier than the original,. Something about the ambience and SFXs. MÆRE III may be in development in the future so Chris, if you're reading this, it's an amazing game, and secondly, I have some suggestions. The pills are unnecessary, it only works if there are more entities or more things to fear. I think fake jumpscare like the phantom animatronics in FNaF 3 could work in this game to suddenly lose 3 levels in the fear meter, for example. I also think it'd be fun if there was a punishment for when you look at a part of a room for too long or switch too quickly too many times; that way could encourage players to sleep more.
