There isn't actually a lot of science behind that. But.... many people notice stronger scent throw with certain waxes if you wait longer. Particularly heavy soy waxes like 464. Personally.. .. never found much of a difference

Especially since both wax and fragrance oils getting “tweaked”. I had this happen with my jars. The same manufacturer changed the width of the jars and my candles needed retesting.

It's a pain, but it's essential!
