- We found this broken 180SX a few years ago, so we decided to fix it. This is the story of Tay Tay.

never go full Pony 180sx is definitely easier to drift, longer wheelbase, independent rear, more power. Don't get me wrong the 86 is a legend and one of my favourite cars but for a beginner a 180sx is an easier car to drift

You're correct. I like my fair share of Mitsubishi's, but I love Nissan. I also love the red 2007 Pontiac G5 Coupe.

I remember the first drift pig build that's actually turned my on to you guys and ive been a fan since then and what keeps me coming back is the fact that you guys are one of a few real car shows on UA-cam who is sponsored but actually dose their own work and what yall do isn't a stretch for a normal person to do keep it going guys #taytaydriftpig

I might be bias because I am a HUGE fan of Nissan 240sx, but I adore Tay Tay. Never sell this car Moog! Keep it. I see your excitement and a gleem in your eye when you look at it. You already lost it once and got it back! Seriously keep it this time. This particular build and series on the 180sx has been my favorite. Keep the good content going, and please for the love of Nissan Gods keep Tay Tay!

I have to admit that watching the journey of both TayTay and 2Sexy have been some of the most fun episodes you guys have done. The Mini and SuperGramps are boss in their own rights, but something about beater/race cars just makes these two so amusing.

I can't believe it's been so long...I remember the big unveiling of the 180 and waiting for each new video for progress on it. Awesome to see the project picked back up and turned into a pretty decent looking little car!

i've been trying to find my old car and buy back. (94 Dodge Intrepid with the 3.5L, hands down greatest v6) Beat her, drag raced her stock, jumped her...she's been seen around town, but by friends. Surprisingly no one scraped the darn thing. Goal for my friend that passed, she wanted to drop a 440 Hemi into and turn it into a proper drag racer. and this video inspired me to make sure I bring it back.

Moog i absolutely understand buying your old 180 back, regardless of what anyone says i had to buy a car and my first engine back from an insurance company after a wreck and spent waaay too much having the car redone and the engine machine work done to bring them both back from the junk yard but having spent waaay too much and too much time... i can honestly say i understand and im not left with that feeling that i lost them. i know they are sitting in the shop and i own them haha! thanks for the maaaaaaad fun guys keep it up!!!! Definitely not to heavy. Will need to reinforce the body but it will work. If someone can put a chevy v8 in a civic, they can put a 2j in a mirage.

You know Chevy V8's are smaller than a 2JZ, right? Like, almost a full 200lbs lighter, and about 4.5" shorter from front to back. LS engines fit in WAAAAYYYY more things than JZ blocks do.
2jz's are too heavy. Just keep it light and simple.

Hard to say. Looks department for sure go to 2sexy. But i would prefer to drive tay tay. RWD and SR20 goodness will not be beat by a sohc turbo.
I always tend to shed a tear watching newer MCM videos, unbelievable how far they got with these videos. its awesome. Just need more Japan visits/videos.

This will sound silly but I really liked how TayTay looked when Moog recently got it back. it had that nasty battered up drift car look that made a decent amount of power. my favorite thing about it was the dangling zip tied bumper and the one headlight up.
