@ the have been minor issues all corrected by warranty. None of those issues left me stranded unlike some of my previous experiences in some German cars.
My MY 2017 is still a joy to drive. The best car I've ever owned. I don't care for old fashioned infotainment as long as it works. No fancy screens for me where you have to dive into menus to change drive modes. The simple drive modes button is so much more rewarding. Build quality is impressive. The only weak point of the Giulia is the battery, which is... German made. I will never sell it.
Great choice for a review 👌 As a 21 Giulia QF owner I always keep an eye out for new reviews, of what is essentially getting on for a 10 year old car and platform now. So much more interesting to drive, or even just to see on the roads vs another M3 or RS4/5 imo 😎 A few things I’d add, certainly for benefit of anyone considering buying one: Not sure you mentioned that the new facelift models now come with a mechanical LSD as opposed the E-LSD on all others to date, which apparently does a better job with managing power distribution to the rears when you’re pushing the car. Admittedly Michelin PS4S tyres make a transformative difference regardless (in anything other than Italian summer conditions anyway!) vs the standard Pirellis, but it still has tendencies to cut the power more than you’d like when it’s losing traction in Dynamic mode and then definitely keeps you awake when you put it in Race! There seems to be some confusion about what DNA modes mean for the Giulia/Stelvios, but I’m pretty confident in my understanding: Dynamic - improved response and sportiness, whilst keeping your driver aids on (it actually feels very safe and steady in this mode so it’s a good compromise for most occasions), plus the exhaust valves open when you’re higher in the rev range. I also heard somewhere that the new models now have them open all the time in Dynamic as well as Race (which was a silly oversight in the first place, as you have to have it in full Race just to make it sound as it should, although you can get an exhaust valve remote fitted to solve this). Natural (I guess that’s Italian for “normal”?) Advanced Efficiency - with 3 cylinders temporarily deactivating to massively improve MPG. I have used it perhaps twice, when running on fumes to the nearest Shell, but am pretty sure it’s all about economy and nothing to do with weather conditions … Race - all driver aids switched off, no torque limiting in lower gears (like you get in all other modes to some degree), exhaust valves open all the time. Don’t be tempted to test it in the wet, but on good tyres and in the right conditions this is the real Quadrifoglio experience 👌
I think the A in DNA is all weather because it puts the VDC (ESP) system into a more controlling mode, increases the Anti-skid control (ASR, MSR), and smooths the throttle response to prevent sudden acceleration causing a skid.
I'm with you! As the second owner of an MY21 variant, I love it. It's got SOUL. Previously owned MY19 Audi S5 & MY16 BMW M140i. Whilst the tech in the QV isn't quite up to date with the very latest that's available I find the Apple CarPlay & Range finding cruise control sufficient to satisfy my needs. It's not too nanny-like in its safety tech. Think I may be keeping this girl for some time. Who wants to be driving a Chinese electrical appliance?!?
Got one! Love it! Great video and I agree on all points. This car may no longer be the fastest in its class but it has the most soul and passion. It is also the best looking and sounding! A future classic right here! ❤🇮🇹
I have 23 QV in Etna Red. Love its telepathatic steering, great chassis and performance, sounds great too valves open upshifting or downshifting with the paddles.

@BuckleUpShow yes but they admit the the maserati is a ferrari engine tho. Must be a reason why they don't was associating with that v6. I do know the belt needs changing every 3 years (i think) on that v6 and it's a huge huge huge job. I recently learned that maserati built the ALFA 4c not alfa
