I was reading a book by Mr. Gopinath. GR Gopinath 's dad was a kannada novelist and his grandad was a poet. He came from a place called Gorur near Hasan. But there's another Gorur Ramaswamy Iyengar who was a Jnaanaeeta Prashasti awardee in Kannada. Iyengars are usually known to be tamilians but Karnataka iyengars are very proficient in kannada and also other languages as they know tamil and sanskrit too. He mentions a poem from his grandad "Gudi yaache , gidadaache, gaadiayaache, hosa naadige" which translates to "Let's travel and fly beyond the buildings, forests, and travel to new lands". Proud of this Indian and Kanndiga who brought in a revolution to the aviation industry :) Credits to Surya for his script choice, brilliant acting and making this awesome movie. This movie should have been in two parts to completely capture all the details and stories to accommodate the original script which I think was long.

The interviewer asked pertinent questions and the replies instant by Captain. I saw the film - it was awesome-- I can't take a single minute away from screen. - . Iam 60 plus. Since I am retired class 1 officer, I know the hurdles of bereaucracy-- which will put anybody off-- but not the dreamer.. captain was not either underrating or overrating- when he talked about the 10 stipulated conditions fulfilled in a application. I salute captain , a teacher' s son( a Kannada medium especially..)& he is an exserviceman. 🙏🙏. The anchor didn't make any cringy questions. 🙏.
Gopinath is a Brahmin. Did it bother you that in the movie, Surya was portrayed as a backward and the villain in the movie is a Brahmin?
@@jayanthi101 A film maker should do justice to the film-- by not hurting the soul of the film. Gopinath wanted- there should not be cost barrier & caste barrier...In a way it is poetic justice.. the caste barrier was done away with. ( Gopinath wanted even common should use airlines-- cost should be made cheaper-- no travel agency- no food served in flight-- That GOAL is achieved)

I know it is not Mr Gopinath’s intention to hurt Brahmin’s feelings. But when they take a biopic, they should stick to the subject. Why unnecessary anti Brahmin dialogues and why EVR in a movie like this? What are they trying to convey to the youngsters?
