I find this about the dark side of human emotions, "you" doesn't always refer to your lover. I find it also about thinking about suicide" what might have been lost" what if i did that... as in the pain you caused will be my legacy. And maybe he put faith in love to comfort that or save it. as in the pain you caused will be my legacy. so please help me and undo everything. but it wouldn't work like that. idk how to put it into words exactly but it's just a reflexion about his emotions and how he deals with it.
