- My first time going abroad solo! I was able to try Dubai Connect that Emirates offers to passengers with a lay over time of 8 hours/more in economy and 6 hours/more in Business Class and First Class.

Hi! I have a question for you. So, under manage booking, I did see Dubai connect option. I clicked on it which took me to a page to fill in few details and then an option to save request. Now the status shows as saved. I have not received any kind of confirmation. Did you get any email confirmation or did the status change for you? How will I confirm if I have been successful registering Dubai connect?
It remained that way for us as well. We just got our confirmation upon check in at the airport where they told us about the hotel voucher that they will be giving us.

Hi, Pat! I am Indonesian and I will travel from Jakarta to Munich, and I will have to transit in Dubai for 10 hours. In Dubai Airport, at the Immigration Check Point, will I automatically get the 48 hours visa so I can stroll around in the city? Thanks in advance :)
Hello! I was given the visa by Emirates as part of their Dubai connect service. You can check in your manage bookings if you're flying Emirates to see if you are eligible for this service.

Hello! Yes, you will be allowed to go out as long as you will be able to make it back to the airport in time for your connecting flight. You are free to explore Dubai during your lay over 😊 hope it helps!

Hi! I'm not really familiar with the exact procedures for this. In my experience with Dubai connect, Emirates took care of everything for me. All I had to do was click the button for Dubai Connect in my manage booking page of my flight.
Hey, I’ve recently just booked a flight and my layover in Dubai is 14 hours, i think I’m eligible for the Dubai connect service but I can’t see anything about it in “manage my bookings”option. Will it only appear 24 hrs before my flight?because I still have a few days before my flight departs
It's supposed to be visible as soon as you book. It might also be that the layover you booked might not have been the shortest possible layover for your route.
Hey, also make sure whether your base fare is more than 1000USD excluding tax. Any cabin class is eligible for the service.

Hey, any class (economy, business,first class) is fine. Your base fare should be 1000USD and above excluding taxes to be eligible for the service.
Heyy Pat n Roshna, i booked a flight which initially had 3 hrs of layover to the connection flight. But today I got an update that the connection flight is rescheduled to the next day morning...my ticket cost is more than 1000 USD . Am I eligible for Dubai connect? I can't find anything on my bookings as well...thanks
@@mathai08 Hey Mathew, try looking through the manage your booking section, if you can’t find anything I suggest you connect with an agent via ask emirates chat. It might take a few tries before someone answers. Or you should try calling their helpline.

@@brittanynewman9203 I stayed in one of the hotels near in Dubai airport. What I did was I went to Dubai Connect immediately once I landed in the airport. I told them I have applied online and 2 weeks before my flight for the UAE visa but I haven’t received anything. What they did was the staff re-applied an UAE visa for me and it took 1-2 hours before I got my visa. I was literally sitting in the waiting area for 2 hours until someone called my name and I got my UAE visa. Thank God! 😊
My advise for you is before your flight, apply for the Dubai Connect via the emirates website, email the requirements for the UAE visa and follow all the instructions on the website. If you have any questions, you can ask the emirates staff via twitter. They answer there. 😁

Hi Pat, i have 22hrs lay over sa Dubai from Munich to Manila... My flight will be on Jan15,2020. Right now pag check ko sa Manage booking page walang option na Dubai Connect, should I wait a little bit close sa flight ko para maka pag book sa Dubai Connect? Salamat
Hello! Supposedly if available option ang Dubai connect for your flight it should show up automatically in your manage booking. You can try to contact Emirates if it can be made available for you 😊

Pag may lay over that's just a few hours long, you go straight to the transfer desk then you will be directed to your gate 😊

Yes visa upon arrival yung transit visa. For my case, Emirates was the one who took care of all my requirements.

@@economics-for-beginners3583 the hotel had every thing you need for a comfortable rest. Nothing special tho. I stayed in this hotel pre pandemic but in my recent trip, it seems that Dubai is quite strict with their covid restrictions.
