The Warning are the queens of the musical pause... There timing is so on point that when they put a pause in a song they always nail it and it is so effective!
I think the low notes from all three are part of what really gives The Warning a distinctive (and seductive) sound. This track is one of their best imo. The fact that they been preparing for lockdown concerts since childhood is simply unfair for the rest of the industry :D

Interesting, this concert was to help those venues that are struggling. One of other head liners was Halestorm. Lizzy Hale saw this and actually jumped on their live stream and said she want's to tour with them!
Great reaction guys! Due to upgrades in the Warning Cave in cameras and mics and being pumped from signing their new big record deal, this is the best recording of this song to date! Ale has upgraded to a five string bass! A fan leant her the one she is playing here while Spector makes her a custom bass with band’s lightning bolt logo on the fret board! It’s supposed to be ready in September.

What I noted in this performance was that Pau has got a "Gibraltar" (or similar) rack to hold her drums from drifting away under her relentless pounding and Ale is wielding for the first time (in public?) a 5-stringer. Waiting for their upcoming CD!
If I am correctly informed, the 3 girls have finally signed a record deal. With Lavarecords. That means they are finally getting better known and hopefully more successful. They deserved it .

It would only be wrong for me if the girls were without talent and my ears bleed from listening. That would be wrong. Otherwise you have to take advantage of every opportunity in this business.
you should watch the interview for this with the girls, and also Jason Flom of Lava.. he gets so excited introducing them! and to know that LZZY Hale commented in chat how the future of rock is safe in their hands and after this covid bs is over they need to tour together...Now htats a statement!!! Hah hah, Ale is now a good 5 inches taller than Dany, and she just about dwarfs Paulina. They did a funny steam a while back where they switched mics in The Cave, and Dany was whining about how Ale's mic hit her in the middle of her forehead.😮 Pau wouldn't even come out from behind her kit to compare.🤣 I like the camera angles in this that capture Dany's laser focus on the camera! It's like she's looking right into your soul.😳 🤘😍🤘
Note Ale is playing a 5-string now. I can't wait until she gets her own. I want to see it. And word is it is supposed to be lighter than others. I also can't wait to see how it affects her movement on stage.
I absolutely luvz these girls! Yah... They were a cute novelty a few years ago. BUT... THEY WERE GOOD! Well...considering their ages at the time.... The evolution!! I thinkAle was 8 when she started picking up bass. And she was soooo adorbz and tiny. But she kept fab time and her little fingers kept the strings from the buzz! Pau.....is main stream top level drummer now. You could stick her with ANY legendary metal band now! The way Pau is going... She will be respected in the same breath as Neil Peart, Buddy Rich, Alex Van Halen and Clem Burke. Danni....she's a freakin driving force. Her ability to fill lead and rythem guitars.. Is crazy respectful! These girls in 10 years will be one of the true saving graces of hard rock and rock n roll in general. Hey! By the way... I like the channel! Im a old rock n metal musician from back in the Seattle days. Friggin dig the music you perform. Pure shiz!

In Dull Knives, the Queen is losing control and seriously considering suicide. In the previous song, Sinister Smiles, she’s already said “. . . grab the dagger. Cut through skin and stain the water”. This is a very “feminine” way to commit suicide-- in the tub, maybe a bubble bath, so that the blood from slashed wrists remains in the tub and does not dirty the house. I assume dull knives cut “better” because they cause more pain, and at this point she is self-mutilating. She realizes that her evil side is winning. She is losing it.

When I play this in my car I make sure no PO PO are around because I foot seems to push harder on the gas. The best 3 min adrenaline rush.
