I forgot to clarify in the video by the way that I HAVE been getting treated for this for some time now. It's a long road, but I'm already better than I was, and I'm gonna hopefully keep getting better. Again, thank you all for you love and support! It means so much!

Mate, I've had anxiety my whole life, but it's never gotten that bad. I just... Can't imagine how that could feel happening all the time. I've dealt with serious depression that makes me feel like a disappointment for my entire life. I understand all of this. A lot of people have dealt with this, they just don't know. You're doing great as is. Every video is kinda like a shiny Pokemon. An amazing pleasant surprise that doesn't happen often. Now I know, maybe that came across wrong, but I see the upload schedule as a perfectly fine thing. Seriously, as someone who animates, I can DEFINITELY understand infrequent uploads. There's a lot of work in content that's actually genuine, and trying to entertain you. There's SO. MUCH. WORK. and I completely get it. You have a good day, and don't worry, you could go on hiatus for 2 years and my caring and adoration for this channel and it's content will not change. Keep being you.

Aww Wambu. I understand how that feels. The thoughts cycle so fast, and then you feel like everything is going to crumble away. People will always judge, not gonna beat around the bush there, people can be jerks and just judge right off the bat for no reason whatsoever, and eventually those thoughts stay with you and cause you to doubt yourself and your ability to perform so everyone can be satisfied in some unrealistic way that makes 0 sense because these are your videos, and your opinion. People don’t have the right to criticize unless you give them the right, and even then never do it harshly.

Hey Wambu, I actually also suffer from ADHD and moderate anxiety. The anxiety isn't that bad (probably because of medications, which are prescribed, thank you very much.) I understand the feeling that when you aren't working or if you are working, it is never good enough. My anxiety is caused by me having irrational thoughts about future events or an anchor that completely changes events in my life can cause panic attacks, which are some of the most horrific mental juggernauts that I have experienced. (It is nothing compared to what other people experience, but this is based on my perspective) I have the same problem with a hobby- I feel like if I don't use or enjoy my hobby, i'm wasting a possible experience and not enjoying the fullest out of what I should. I get guilt from losing interest in things over time.
It's ok man we understand. We will stand behind any and all of the decisions you make on this channel. Take you time, and ignore the haters. 👍

I actually think that the long wait is among the things that makes your videos enjoyable: I think we can all agree that you put TONS of effort into your vids, wich is demonstrated by the high quality that they have.
Also remember that, to us, you are NOT DEAD, NEVER DEAD, YES YOU ARE A GHOST (shut up).

I struggle with that exact same type of constant self-hate stacking and it soaks up all the joy I get outta the things I normally love doing. So for that reason, I really appreciate you speaking about your struggles and how you're staying strong despite that; and I send nothing but kindness your way. Someday soon, we will all learn to love ourselves.

Honestly? I like that you tend to take a long time on your videos. It makes it feel special, that you aren't shilling a video a week out for the UA-cam algorithm. And while I specifically don't understand social anxiety full, I CAN understand feeling like everything you do isn't enough. But whenever I see a new video of yours, my day INSTANTLY brightens up no matter how bad that day has been. So don't worry, take the time you need. As I and everyone way ahead of me said, we love your stuff no matter how long it takes. A positive way of seeing those comments is that they simply missed you so much they're excited you're "Back" (Though you probably already understand that)

Buddy, your style of using an avatar with different expressions, gestures, and emotions has been a huge inspiration to me as a creator since I first started watching your content (and I know I haven't used an avatar of my own yet, but trust me, I will). I can't speak for everyone here, but for me, I only care about two things when it comes to your channel: that you don't ever quit because of hate (whether it be from comments, or discouraging critique from friends that you show your videos to before uploading), and that you enjoy yourself. If people are saying that your videos aren't good, they're wrong. After all, that's only their opinion. And if people's opinions matter to you, then look at the opinion of everyone who's liked that very same video. I don't know where I'm going with this, just... keep doing what you love. If that means releasing videos in fashion not traditionally considered "timely", take all the time you need! If that means taking the channel in a completely different direction, then take out your compass and map and chart a course! If that means quitting UA-cam completely, I'll be sad, I won't deny that, but I bet everyone, myself included, wills still support you in your decision. As someone who also suffers from anxiety I can definitely relate to what you’re saying and I’m sure most of your audience is fine with the slower uploading but now that we know why I’m certain that will be even more true. Take all the time you need man. One more thing I’m not sure how much this necessarily applies to your situation but a common trait of anxiety that I and a lot of others I know who have it is when it kicks in you feel isolated and helpless.your noT me and I’m sure plenty others are right there with you. It's not in a way of "Oh that lazy ghost boy finally put out a new video" it's in more of a "HOLY SHIT WAMBU UPLOADED OMG THE KING HAS BLESSED US WITH A NEW UPLOAD!!!" When you put out a video, I don't think about what's next until like 2 and a half months later, at least. Your videos are so good, they pretty much last a lifetime! As a long time fan, I just want you to know that I support you. We all do! Take care of yourself, that's what's important.

dude, this hits WAY too close to home, I’ve got the same problems. I barely get out of the house due to COVID, so it’s kinda just been getting worse. I’m usually fine with stuff like UA-cam comments, but if I can see or hear someone, my anxiety goes haywire.
Take all the time you need, Wambu. We love your videos regardless of when they come out. Honestly though, I can kind of relate to your thought process. While I do not have social anxiety, I do have rather low self-confidence when it matters. I constantly second-guess myself, and oftentimes I don’t feel confident in a decision unless someone else agrees with me. If I did start making UA-cam videos, I would most likely have a similar thought process to what you described. Please understand that I do not mean any offense with this. I am simply saying that I understand what you are going through and that you are not alone with this mindset. Above all, you are an amazing UA-camr, Wambu. All those hearts and souls you consume in your flames are constantly put into your video quality. Shine on, you floating light fixture, and have a great day!

Dunno if its the subject matter or the editing or the jokes themselves or whatever but i laugh every single time. Im glad you're dealing with your issues and im glad you got a job and im happy for you in general but i do have two pieces of advice. Get someone to help on your videos at least a little bit... And finally, your self worth isnt and shouldn't be just your videos. But your videos are amazing. And you should be proud of that. Can't wait to see your next video man. Best of luck with everything.

Dude as long as we know that you are happy and healthy, we dont care about the upload gaps. Me personally, I love hearing you voice and the way you talk so passionately about children's video games (except for horror). I don't mean this in a weird way, but every time you said "I love you guys", it made me want to say it back to you. Plus we can always just rewatch your videos whenever we want to, so take as much time as you need, and take care of yourself.

Dude, take your time to heal. Sorry that all the jokes got to you, pretty sure no one had any idea what was going on behind the scenes, but we still should’ve been a little more considerate. I hope your taking the time to not only get your videos to a level of quality you’re happy with, but also to enjoy yourself, do other things, and most importantly, work on fighting your anxiety. It’s not gonna happen over night, or over the course of a week, or over any long course of time, it’s probably always gonna be there. But I hope you and your friends are helping you work towards making sure that your anxiety stops being something that can hurt you. I know you’ll be able to fight it, and just know, no pressure, we’re willing to wait as long as we need to. We have lives we can commit to while we wait, and you deserve to commit to your life and not just slave away at videos. Just know we’re always gonna come back when you upload again.

You are doing good, I find it hard to believe that this is how you are being treated. I will stay here for you as a viewer since you are amazing. Besides for some people they can't get around the bush with out beating themselves up about it. I see your videos from an animated movie stand point because those can take a lot of time. I have loved your channel since smash uploads and I have loved all of your videos and loved your humor in your April fools video and I came into this video playing it in the background while playing the new paper Mario and then I paused the game and realized that you are a head working person who loves his job and is struggling so just wanted to say to keep up the good work and take your time because all of your videos are like Christmas gifts, they are rare but you are so happy everyone you see one and just one vid can last me a year
