@MadMike KD doesn't mean that much. You could wreck your KD by going for all the challenges, like dark matter, or the dark ops etc. Your level shows how much grinding and how much time and effort you put into the game, doesn't show that much skill

In COD you level up and gain exp while playing, the only penalty of leaving is getting a lose(I think) and losing the points ot gives on the end of the match
Leaving will only count as a loss and you don't get the bonus exp at the end of the match whatever exp you get in game (not the bonus) you keep no matter what you do
Maybe he has that kd because he plays objective like he likes capturing objective but mine is 1.77 and I do play on the objective but if I see teammates don’t help I just go for kills
