Beach walk in January on the Tyrrhenian Sea in Scalea. Scalea is located on a peninsula bordering the Gulf of Policastro to the south, in the northwestern part of the county. The oldest parts of the city are staggered on a hilltop, while the newer parts of the city are on the coast. It is bordered by Orsomarso, San Nicola Arcella, Santa Domenica Talao and Santa Maria del Cedro.
