Our childhood hero... Sayeed Anwar. What a stylish batsman he was!!! I still remember this inning. For a moment, I went back to my good old days. Our entire family along with my cousin brothers used to watch cricket matches together, whenever Pakistan used to play!!!

When batsmen used to rarely score 120s and Saeed score almost a double ton. Classiest left hander to have ever played the game. The flow of the bat, placement and timings were the 3 hallmarks of this genius. Never seen all 3 acts in 1 batsman. Even Sachin was amazed to see Anwar pick gaps at will.

Runner or not. It was an absolute gem of an innings. Double century or not, the score 194 itself is huge. Indian bowling as usual, was poor and never appeared to be international level.
Those days are gone.
India today have a good pool of fast bowlers with Bumrah being hailed one of the best in the world.
