  • The Ford Bronco is the hottest platform in the 4x4 world right now. It rivals the Jeep Wrangler with its removable top, disconnecting front sway bar, and locking differentials, but ups the ante with innovative features like Trail Turn Assist, a twin turbo V6 engine, and ten-speed automatic transmission. The ability to option out a vehicle with selectable locking differentials and steel bumpers right from the factory might seem like it is stepping on the toes of companies like ARB, considering that their signature product is the famous Air Locker. Rather than be discouraged, ARB outfitted a new Bronco with a host of their products to show that they still have plenty of tricks up their sleeve to make a Bronco more comfortable and capable on the street and on the trail. To see how the ARB products improve this already capable platform we took the ARB-equipped Bronco side by side with a stock Bronco and put them through their paces in mud, sand, snow, and rocky terrain.

    I think the front bumper makes the vehicle look much more tough and rugged definitely have to get it.

    I would have loved to see the ARB air lockers on this no squatch model compared to the factory ones. Would be great to see them in action.

    Do you need to increase the strength of the front suspension after installing yhe bullbar?

    Ooh -- definitely want me some of those skid plates underneath. I ordered Sasquatch and the modular steel bumper (which comes with a front skid-plate) on my Outer Banks Bronco, but it could definitely use some other skid plates up under there. At least, based on what I've seen here on UA-cam -- I don't actually have my Bronco yet; it's only been 2 months since I ordered it (March 5, 2022, right before the order banks closed). Lord only knows when I'll actually get it. 😆

      Oh you will love it when you get your 2024 Bronco! Ordered mine in January and still no word....

      @@wulfkar677 I wish I knew what makes an order go through or not. You've heard nothing since January. There are people who haven't heard anything since October of 2021 when they were forced to re-order their 2021 models as 2022 models., Yet I received a VIN and a build-date on July 15th, 4 months and 10 days after I ordered. (They say it'll be built the week of August 22nd -- obviously that's not guaranteed, but we'll see.) So what's the difference between your order and mine? Is it all up to dealer allocations? There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it -- it's crazy!

      @@LMacNeill whoa! Congrats! That is exciting. Gotta say I am jealous. You are right though. Ford is not consistent. Lots of factors I suppose but some don't make sense. My order is a big bend sasquatch mid package. Hopefully my build date will come soon. What did you get?

    • @LMacNeill
      @LMacNeill 2 роки тому

      @@wulfkar677 I got an Eruption Green Outer Banks 4-door with a soft-top, Sasquatch, Lux package, and the modular front-bumper. I wanted the tow package, but my sales guy told me it'd definitely get pushed back to 2023 if I ordered that, so I left it off.

      Ford was handing them out at King of the Hammers last year. I looked online to buy another one since my girlfriend stole this one from me, but I wasn’t able to find them anywhere.

    First time watching your channel... Maybe the last. Please tone down the intro music... I had to scramble to get the remote to turn down the volume. I can't imagine having ear buds in.
    I am looking for add-ons for my '22 Wildtrak.

    "Everything needs modified" When did people stop saying "to be"? Everything needs TO BE modified. I've noticed this trend over the last few years. A truck doesn't "need washed" it needs "to be" washed. Not trying to nitpick, but what started this trend?

    • @longbra

      This truck needs washing. This Bronco needs modification. Just bad choice of words.

      @AV8R_1 Рік тому

      @@longbra Not really on your part. And, don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t trying to criticize you. I hear it a lot. It’s becoming more common. Another trend that drives me nuts is when people say, “learnt” instead of “learned”. Is it just me? Am I just a nit-picky old curmudgeon?! 😂

    • @longbra
      @longbra Рік тому +1

      @@AV8R_1 Learnt is really bad, but I try to accept the way different people talk. It gives me a good idea of what kind of person they are. However, I don't know if I'll ever be able to accept heavy use of acronyms in speech. Especially if people start saying "LOL" instead of just laughing.

    An app for filling up your tires? How about an app for reminding you when you leave your phone on your tire and then proceed to run it over with a 5,000lb vehicle?
