Good fix there, it's appliance heaven in your hands 👍
I think the I/II switch makes more sense than the others you had & the neon isn't really necessary anyway.
I looked & you can get the 'old style' elements cheap on eBay.
Also, you could try Autosol paste & a toothbrush (on stubborn marks), even use a buffing wheel; that should bring out the shine.
Hope this helps in future 👍
Thanks for another good video 🙂

The autosol is a good idea. I thought about buffing it on my wheel and about spray painting the ends. Hi don’t really know what I want it for.

Hey! I've been repairing a few Dualit and Magimix on this side of the Channel 🙂 and one trick I have seen is to take a picture of the connections BEFORE disconnecting anything. And it works!! :)
I'm trying to find where Dualit is getting its switches from. Farnell has pretty similar ones but they don't have the 1-2 (or I-II) versions. And the brand -Arcolectric-that you can find on the switch does not exist anymore. If you ever get a hint...

I'm still trying to work out which ones got the wider slots, the 3 and 4 combo ones used to have them with no ejector presumably to more effectively accommodate the sandwich cage but the one above seems to just be a regular toaster with the wider slots. I guess it's the usual British manufacturer changing things on the fly with no available documentation.

I'm still not sure which goes where on the rocker switch. Your help would be appreciated. I have a 4 slice.. with the long red in the centre element and the short red on the end with the blue. Which one goes to the rocker switch and what is the correct sequence for wires on the switch if looking at it 2 on the left and 1 on the right.

have a look at my other dualit videos and maybe they will help.

@bootsowen I figured it out by pausing your video at various points and zooming in.
So... Holding the rocker switch so the two are on the left and one on the right the sequence is: Red, Brown, Blue. Also, either red will work when attached to the rocker switch.. but.. when selecting only two slots on a four slice toaster the short red will start the two slots on the left and the long red will start the two slots on the right. I hope this helps someone and many thanks for the video.
