First time I heard this song was a drive home from work. I started crying at the beauty of this song and the meaning behind such gorgeous and truthful lyrics. For we are indeed left with silent sorrow, no tomorrow, all lost and alone until God hears us pleading and screaming, asking Him to forgive us of our sin and for Him to show His unending mercy and grace to us.
