Still have the original 1991 CD of the album this song came from under HEAVY "lock-and-key" in my collection (ha!). If anything, he provided a very crucial bridge that decade for the likes of Frank McComb, Kem, and Gregory Porter who began making their respective presences felt right after the turn of the new millennium. For that alone, he has my utmost gratitude and respect.

July 10 2015 I went to see him, front row seats Nokia Club in LA and it sounds better LIVE. I really really love his voice...nice and smooth. Best show ever. A night to remember.
I am a longtime Will Downing fan and love his vocal presentation. I know that a large majority of his catalogue is consistent of re-makes, ie covers but this man puts his spin on them and kills. It’s been a while since I’ve heard any new material from Mr. Downing but I’m sure that whatever he’s working on will be great as usual.
