I love my Pops and really don't care about price too much. I just really enjoy collecting Pops. They're crazy fun and seeing your collection grow, that's icing on the cake. I'll definitely starting looking for some bargain pops!

@@Slapshotpops Oh, it looks like it's dying on the vine. I feel bad for those who are heavily-invested. There are pops going for virtually nothing on ebay. 12 dollars and free shipping for 10 inch exclusive pops. Ouch!

I collect because I like something not because of the value. Some people buy them because they see them aa investment, not strange as you buy something for retail, and often gets to a value over a $100. And yes the Corona money and collectors/ investors are slowly disappearing. These “collectors” are now trying to sell of their collections and want quick money for them. So they sell for below ppg. That is why prices are dropping. Give it a year and that price drop will end and prices will stabilize.

Seems like if it’s not Freddy Funko the values aren’t that much on anything. It’s best not 2 pay attention 2 trending values unless ur a reseller & just collect what u like & if it goes up it goes up

If you are collecting pops as a form of investment, you have a lot more to worry about than their price dropping lol. This is a hobby plain and simple.

Great Vid. Loved the Monday Motivation! It’s always a let down when you paid for a collectible and it drastically goes down in value. But the same can apply to Stocks as well. It’s a gamble if you are buying something purely as an investment. As another person said here, but the collectible because you like it, want to add it to your collection to complete a series you are collecting, not for the value alone.
Great Video, all the Sonic pops are Awesome! The Tony the Tiger Jr. Pretty cool too. So many of these pops I've forgotten about, will have to put on my need to get list.

To be honest I'm not thrilled about the Thrawn taking as big a hit as it has. Luckily it's still more than what I purchased it at. But still the drop has been much more excessive than I'd like. It's still one of my favorite pops in my collection.
Lots of great info. i plan on trying to get one of the Bane Pops eventually, We are big Batman fans and I was actually one of the people in the crowd in the Football stadium that Bane blows up in The Dark Knight Rises. Awesome video !
Been concerned about funko for awhile. A lot of my line haven't released a new on in a while and that's motu, gi joe, old school transformers so, the only line left us wwe but get video

Alot of these are further down than what ppg reflects, ezra is going for 80, super shadow 550ish, thrawn 175ish, i think pops in general are dropping in value unfortunatly
It depends, a lot of the ones on the market selling low are pretty damaged unfortunately. But PPG isn’t spot on, it’s just a guide at the end of the day. I’m fine with values coming down, especially on the rare pops i’m still hunting 🔥
@@Slapshotpops yea but i mean even in the vid you mentioned your supprise at how or why some were dropping, such as the lucky glow, i think alot of people are exiting the hobby and under cutting eachother to make the sale, more sellers less buyers

Definitely bittersweet to me. The Luffy and Super Shadow have been on my list, but then I'm a little hesitant because I feel the values going to keep dropping before it ever picks back up. Super Shadow might pick back up once Sonic 3 gets teased, and Luffy might pick up when season 2 comes out but then it'll probably drop again. Both beautiful pop nonetheless

Since I did not have a Thrawn pop, I was very happy with being able to get the new Rebels Thrawn. I like the Rebels boxes and I think this Thrawn is more cool than the Ahsoka Thrawn pop. Thanks for another great and informative video. 👍🏼😃

Monday motivation is a strong one today, it is exciting to see a few pops come back down, I deem a lot of pops out of price range I have only broken the £100 mark once in 9 years of collecting. But to think that some of those out of reach pieces for others may be in reach for them is awesome.
Hey John, what are your thoughts on ahsoka hall h. That pop has dropped significantly in value, at one point as high as 6k. It is currently around 2.2k. Do you think it will continue to come down? Why or why not?
Hmmm I have a good number of pops, i buy pops that represent movies I like, so of if they aren't worth much, I don't care. They are for my amusement, I have saved a number of their boxes, but I don't think very many I own are expensive. 😜
Luffy has two rides that came out in rhw same year, a few months apart, on top of the poster, and now multiple exclusive with 3 different chases. It's safe to say that not eveyone is going to want/desire to own every variant of him, and might just be happy with one or two of many grails of him. The one piece line has too many chases, not eveyone can collwct them all, and might start accepting not getting some of the ridiculous high prices of the chases.
Funko said they weren't going to do this. I hate Funko for doing this. They want everything to be inclusive, and it shouldn't be that way.

I dont think its fair to tell people to buy pops at this point when the market will never go back up and its only headed to beanie baby territory just so ur page can stay up and have something to post. But if people are dumb enough to keep buying pops then they deserve whats coming to them lmao
Anyone who compares Funko to Beanies clearly has no idea what the “market” is or what the “product” even is. You must have been a “collect for value only” collector, and sold them the second a few of your pops went down in value. For someone who thinks they are dumb you sure watch us dumb people talk about them. Feel free to be pessimistic I will take the view 😉
