I can't say anything about Searle, but I was very surprised about Kripke. As I know, he was a fairly intelligent and at the same time a deeply religious man. I don't know, maybe it's just rumors or an attempt at blackmail. Anyway, thanks for the lecture series, this is what I was looking for! Keep it up! You are very good at explaining!

OK Mill, proper nouns don’t have connotative descriptions. Brilliant conclusion, “Einstein”.🙄’ Haha! If you don’t get the joke, you didn’t watch the video properly. 😂 I think you are wrong about the Aristotle evidence versus Jesus. The number of historical first person accounts (like epistles in the New Testament,) vastly outnumbers original writings of Aristotle. The numbers I am seeing are like 20-50 times New Testament to Aristotle copies. Granted, Aristotle was way before. Let me know if you have a good counter to this argument. 👍

I don't know man, is "Einstein" really being used as a proper name in this context? Isn't an adjective or part of metaphorical language? Still, your point is valid. The Millean view on names is very restrictive and cannot account for so many ways we use proper names; and generates dozens of, in my opinion, pseudo problems such as ontological commitment.

Searle is innocent! Oh wait he hated hippies, never mind.
