That thing is really cool. Good design, but you may want to add 90 degree elbows on the cylinder so that both hoses come straight back to the tractor and out of the way with enough slack to roll the bucket. $10 in fittings now is cheaper than a blown hose and an oil cleanup.

Awesome build, other than the inevitable hydro fluid shower.

Your tractor looks hungry, and can't help imagining it with two big googly eyes up on top of the grapple. :D

I have many trailer loads of brush to deal with,. Is this feature available commercially?

Sweet! Way beyond my fabricating capability; the B2410 will just have to be envious. : )

You did an awesome job. If you don't mind me asking what size Hydraulic Hose are you running to the grapple ? Thank you

Nice grapple, but get the lines out of the way. I see problems in your future if you don't. Other than that I like it.

nice job, I'm eventually going to build one of these for my loader so if you don't mind i have some questions. I would guess you eventually shortened your hoses? Your 2x3 tube is 1/8"wall and the teeth are 1/4"x 3? Did you just drill your pivot brackets or insert tubeing to spread the load? Would you say the hyd cyl was the right size or a bit overpowered? Any changes you would make if you built another?

Beautiful work sir! Im considering doing a very similar project on my little Case 648. Trying to wrap my head around the ideal geometry of it. Do you mind if I ask what the angle is between the main pivoting arms and the teeth portion of the grapple? Also curious how long each of those components are?

I like your setup but the hoses are apt to be damaged to easy the way they sit on the side of the bucket. I think I would make an arm coming of the loader boom arm That would be removable when you remove the grapple when not needed with a spring holding the hoses away from the side of the bucket and possible damage.

I have cleared my property and now I have about 100 ton of brushes to dispose of. I am thinking of renting a chipper but I will need your Grapple to lift them and feed them to the chipper. I wish you where my neighbor. I don't who sells an add on like yours for a BX25?

observation: Why is it there are countless videos for a grapple hook for tiny Kubotas? Hell, just pick up the twigs by hand and stick the twigs in a garbage can.

I prefer your system rather than starting over with a new grapple bucket that would just sit around after I am done with it.
