can't believe this is on video, i remember the night standing on the other side on the steps, and thats nicky in the corner the bouncer at the underground! wish i was back there now, best club ever
I was in there, off my barnet at the back,it was the Underground club in Liverpool, owned by the Hughes twins, all I seen was a few cameramen and some different lights to be honest 😂 but he was excellent and that was a great club, all the Huyton firm went there!
Liking the fact that at the time (89) there was no playbook for this experience. Just raw uncut reaction to the vibe in the room. Can't beat it for a night out.
With the 20 year anniversay of the summer of love right around the corner this song is still just as good as when I first heard it waaaaayyyy back then!!!
Me too. If I ever have the chance to spend 6 months lost in a club like The Underground again - try and stop me....or catch me. I miss those nights to this day. "We are family, I got all my sisters and me!"
seen this show in Aberdeen Nov 1989.awsome show cant believe it been 21 years .At the end Adamski walked of the stage into crowd. He then came with us to the tastie tattie for something to eat ! legend.
best days off my life . god wish I cud go back there .uil never ever get people like that dancing the way we did .I got lost took me to another world . everyone was just in love .I worked in nites alive and then took over by James Barton an John Kelly and others .I never ever seen a fight or fuck all in there in the two years I worked there ..was just fuckin amazing .thats were it all started .not in the state the quad or or images or others the underground night club 89 to 90 .. Yesss finally someone who remembers it being Nights Alive I lived in that place haha John Kelly was my hero ! An ur right that’s where it properly all started everyone thinks it was the State !! You had to be there best memories an when it finished ( Cos then at the beginning clubs weren’t open all night ) you’d open the boot of the car change your clothes Cos they were drenched an drive to a rave Blessed to have experienced an lived those times
i´ve never noticed the track was written by adamski himself before it was a megahit with seal´s voice. this instrumental is my new favourite "killer"- version. what a live-performance! :))
Love Killer! Good to see Daddy Chester alongside Adamski before he got elbowed out of the picture by his own friend Seal. Just seen on youtube that Daddy Chetser is still dancing, he's on TJ Chill's video for C'Mon :-)
Adamski has remade his album liveandirect as vileacidrent. It is to be released this october 2010 on Major records, Germany. Also new version of killer featuring Nina Hagen on vocals
I remember going to see Adamski live in Liverpool around this time with some school friends... it might have been 1990... can't remember the venue though 🤔 I do recall EMF were the support act before they became known with their hit, 'Unbelievable', and the flyers were all printed wrongly, stating they were called EFM. Didn't have a clue at the time who they were, as we'd never heard of them anyway. 🙄😂

As a 40 year old American can ANYONE who was there tell me if it was as epic as it seems??? Best version of this song, so raw and pure....
it was
indeed, it was all that and so much more...
Amazing memory I’m lucky to have 🥰
You can sense the energy in the crowd. I'm guessing Ebeneezer Goode was in the building and had introduced himself to almost everybody 😉
The Roland rd 9 drum machine and Adam made some crazy beats
adamski was the reason i started playing synths back in 1988 as apposed to the boring organ lesson i had .... my personal hero !!
i was there,it was my 19th birthday..what a nite

With the 20 year anniversay of the summer of love right around the corner this song is still just as good as when I first heard it waaaaayyyy back then!!!

You're comment still stands strong to this day just like this tune
to be honest he didn't really need Seal did he. I prefer it raw and untouched like this without any vocal.
Love Killer! Good to see Daddy Chester alongside Adamski before he got elbowed out of the picture by his own friend Seal. Just seen on youtube that Daddy Chetser is still dancing, he's on TJ Chill's video for C'Mon :-)

Everybody got down. Lovely experiences once you dropped the beef and got busy. What happened?
