Dude you are fucking awesome that's all I wanna say excuse my language
You are brave and gorgeous, definition of an angel, may God give you absolute health so you could have school of kids with paradise eyes. When i was going through tough times these two videos made me be in peace with myself and everything else, perhaps it won't work for you but give it a try, youtube: “Fighting Faith - Firas Zahabi, Mohammed Hijab, Subboor Ahmad” and “Firas Zahabi Destroys Stephen Fry’s Complaining and Insulting God Argument (GOOD AND EVIL)”
if you ever pass from this it would be a sad reminder of how all of this (videos about cancer) was pointless, plastering you sickness for views and clicks is shameful, youre blessed to have what you have. im only 23 and i have about 5 years left, you dont see me showing the world my prosses
@@VegetableS0up7079 5 years..?
@TheMDoesGaming I can't tell if you are a troll or just a deeply inconsiderate and bitter human being. People process things differently, and Jess sharing her journey may be very cathartic for her, and helpful for anyone going through the same, regardless of the outcome.
I was diagnosed with cancer at 18, I'm 22 now and have been officially clear for 18 months. I am so glad you had time to freeze your eggs. it wasn't possible in my case and it is definitely something I think about.
Congrats on the 18 month! So happy for you. Every day is a win.
Alexandra Richardson Congratulations for you, you princess! God Bless! great that you give motivation to Jessica!!! perfect example!
Happy to know you survived the challenge! We are praying all else goes well for you .
Congratulations on 18 months clear.
Congratulations on kicking cancers arse.
Jess, I am a male 76yo and a bowel cancer survivor. In remission for 5 years now.
I coped because of great family support.
My thoughts and good wishes are with you and your family at this difficult time.
Your courage in documenting this is both a joy to behold and awesome
You have my well wishes from Brisbane Australia. Just so you know that all over the world people are supporting you on your journey.
Amen, Jim! Family and friend support are the foundation for the great outcomes of anything in life. My dad died in 1999 from colon cancer. He had so many growths and tumors that the surgeon couldn't figure out which organ was which. They reason for the surgery was for an area that the colon ruptured. However, by the grace of God, he lived on for almost 3 months (which was a miracle). Family and friends helped me and mom through it.
May you be blessed with many wonderful years of life filled with love and joy! Warm hugs from Alabama ❤️
You’re amazing. So is your family. So glad you are a survivor 🙏🏼❤️
That’s the magic of the internet here.
I’m living in Germany, which is probably about as far as it can get and I wanna sent you a virtual hug and a heads up for your journey.
You’ve got this and as long as you keep up your mood and your laughter it’s gonna be ok in the end.
So happy for you! A support system is everything!
Donating 10 inches of your beautiful hair is emblematic of the kind of young woman you are:first of all, "kind" (compassionate like your mom) & pragmatic & conservation-minded (again, like your mom - let's find a use for that wool, instead of dumping it in the garbage). The Brocks show us what human beings can be: empathetic, loving, hard-working beautiful people! 💕💕
Yep, you are so right!! The Brocks are such a special family :)
You guys are so awesome about everything you do God bless you all in JESUS WONDERFUL NAME 🙏
As a mother of three girls of my own , I am so proud of you. Life isn’t always fair and I applaud you for being an inspiration to others who might not have the support system that you are blessed to have. I have watched the pain in your mothers eyes as she continued to try to create content for her viewers, all the while remaining firm in her resolve to allow this to be your journey. I won’t lie…I wanted to know what was hurting her so much. I knew it had to be serious, because she has proven herself to be a very strong woman. To say apples don’t fall far from trees has proven to be an understatement. I pray that you are not only fully healed, but that your journey makes you stronger than ever. Your future children will have THE best mom. Of this I have no doubt.
💯❣❣❣
What a great post. I feel exactly the same! In my brain and heart, I knew what was wrong with Sandi. However.... I tried REALLY HARD to tell myself that theres no way that could be. So so difficult to watch Sandi and Mark go thru this. But with Jess being such a strong young woman..... that must make it a bit easier. Atleast I hope it does. How lucky they ALL ARE to have each other! They're truly an absolutely amazing family!!
@@COEXIST-ny4db totally agree
Amazing comment ❤
Couldn't have said it better, your whole family are amazing, will pray for you. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
As a women that went through infertility treatments for 10 years all I can think of is how brave and how positive you are being through this process. And to add that you have an extra weight of stress of having cancer. Jess, I have to tell you that you are so FREAKING AMAZING!! With this positivity and strength from the get go, there is no doubt you will beat this. Keep this up girl. However, please remember its ok to cry, scream and just feel like you don't have control. Its just you being normal and a badass warrior. YOU GOT THIS!!!!
How are you now re Fertility?
@@irenedavo3768 we stopped. It got to be a lot for me. We had 1 miscarriage and several fails. I’m now 47 and we decided to be furparents. We are ok with it. We have plenty of nieces and nephews around that we get to love on.
I agree totally with this comment. Jess and her mom are both war worthy warriors against this cancer.
100% agree
@@denisem1093 Thank you for answering the question and responding in such a positive way even though the outcome was not what you wanted. Your nieces and nephews are blessed to have you in their lives.
As a type 1 diabetic I do agree that some needle sites on your body are more sensitive then others. You're so brave and you got this Jesse. We will be here cheering you and your family on during this journey and beyond!
Oh baby, you are my hero. A blessing to everyone who knows you.
Your hair is cute!
As your Mum said it is great that you were willing to document this for others - so they know what it is involved. Kudos to you!!
Jess, I am a retired RN, worked med/surg and oncology, you are my hero. I have seen young females and males doing similar fertility treatments due to their cancer diagnosis. You will forever be an inspiration to all future teens, young adults, and child bearing aged patients. God bless you and your family…..as well as your medical teams.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wonderful family. You are all so strong. O.K. your mom is an old softy with her sheep but a very strong person. I love her and her sheep. I am an 83 year grandma in a convalesent(sp?) home and I love your mom and her sheep. They always put women with alzheimers(sp?) in with me so I can keep an eye on them and try to entertain them. I've had four in the last 2 1/2 years and they have all loved your sheep too. They all seem to really enjoy it when the sheep run from one end of the barn to the other and then turn around and run back. I'm so glad I found you when I was recovering from Covid, neck surgery and this new residence I now am in. You've shown me what a positive attitude can do Sandi and I thank you for that. I try to keep a positive attitude and pass it on to other "inmates" as I call us. Love and prayers to your whole family.
@@joanneschmude9339Sending you hugest hugs!
@JoAnne Schmude...as a former care giver in nursing facilities and the grandchild of an Alzheimer's patient I thank you for your help with keeping an eye on your roommates. I agree with you about the sheep and how strong these amazing women are. Sandy and Jess are showing the world the truth of what some people's journey is when fighting and surviving cancer and planning for the future. I am so proud of their bravery in being public and open with everyone.

The connection between you and your mother is so strong, it melts my heart.
Jess and Sandi have an amazing bond. More mothers and daughters should be like them.
Exactly and Jess looks like mum too. Just beautiful 😍
She did it all with a smile on her face! Even on the days when you weren’t even feeling it! Jess you’re truly an inspiration well done! ❤
You are so brave and your mom is a champ. Both of you keeping it together when I can only imagine the thoughts and feelings on the inside. And the fact that you donated your hair, thinking of other patients while you could choose to think only about yourself makes you a Superwoman.
Pro tip from someone who’s been on this journey, if you roll the vial on your open palm while the needle is in instead of shaking it doesn’t make bubbles and is easier to draw! I hope you never have to do it again but good info to tuck away. So proud of you Jesse you’re such a trooper ❤
You may have just given great pro tip to someone else that also needed it...Bless You
Years from now, when you kids grow old enough to understand, I hope they will give you a extra hug, because you surely deserve it for the extra effort your putting in.
Respect for sharing the battle.
Dear Jess, My daughter was just diagnosed last March with ovarian cysts. The first doctors were not taking her seriously (probably because she is only 18 and she isn't good at advocating for herself yet). I stepped in and helped her because of your video! She recently saw an amazing specialist who is taking her to surgery next week! Thank you for sharing your story... It is probably saving lives... and you will probably never know that it was because of YOUR video! Prayers continue for you and your family.
Such an amazing and brave young lady!! I'm really touched by how you say "we" are doing "our" fertility treatments. I think it speaks to the amount of support you are receiving from your mom. Bless you Jess and you continue to be in my prayers. #StayStrong
I had both ovaries and Fallopian tubes removed exactly 48 hours ago. I had an 8 cm mass on my right ovary and a small started on the left. Luckily,as a post menopausal woman I didn't have to go through what you are. You have got this girl!! And if you need to cry, then cry.
Good luck to you
Even then, Jess didn't *need* to do this necessarily. She *chose* to because she wanted to at least have the *option* down the road to *maybe* have kids. It's not like she'd die without getting fertility treatments 🤷🏻♀️
Good luck 2u
Wishing you a speedy recovery ❤
I hope you feel better knowing the cysts are gone. I still have my left Ovary for hormone reasons, but 3 years ago I had a 15cm and right Ovary, tubes removed. As you know very painful after. I feel for Jess as like you I had my children already. Pray you heal and all goes well. We will be cheerleaders for Jess and family.
Jessica, I'd just like to let you know that I had one of my ovaries removed at 19. And part of the remaining one a few years later. My youngest child was conceived with 1/4 of an ovary. You've got this!
Im in awe. 😮
I’m so thrilled you were successful in conceiving after such significant intervention! Congratulations! (Total aside; my godmother/aunt’s name was Dolly. She left us years ago but every time I run across her name I can feel her arms around me in a huge hug.)
Amazing! The human body is incredible
Jessica,
I Love You!! Thank You for doing these videos!!
I'm an 82 year old grandpa. My Bride and I had our own vigil as our oldest daughter battled a brain tumor during the COVID lockdowns. (Thankfully, it's currently in remission.)
I love watching Your mom and her sheep. You are people of the land, that's why God gave You an extra special strength. I know Your parents would gladly step in and take this for You, but alas, we all have to sit by and lift You in our continuous prayers as You journey, But Not Alone.
Grandpa.
You are one strong and brave young woman. Love the connection you and your mom have. I’m close with my parents and that is such a special bond. You’ve got this girl. ❤❤. You can cry and be emotional all you want. We are here to support you through this journey.
Jess you are a Warrior Child. Your mom is a Warrior by your side. Baby girl you surrounded by Warriors you don’t even know. You got this !!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Jess, if you only knew how many of us are rooting for you.
Yes. This.
Yes.

She is a Strong Girl 💯🙂!
@@veni.natavi.vici. can I ask Jessica a question let her know
Jess, you are a rock star. Most of us would have already fallen apart. Thanks for allowing us to be on this journey with you. I believe you will get through this just fine. This is just a speed bump in your life.
It's easy to give shots to your animals but it's entirely different when it's your child. Having to even watch is difficult for any Mom. Having gone thru stage 3 cancer and beat it I know you can get thru all this Jess. I'm now working on year 14 being Cancer Free. Prayers being sent your way for you as you go thru all your procedures. ❤🇨🇦 🇺🇸❤😊
There's a lot of sacrificing when you're a parent and you're already sacrificing for them! You're a champ! Prayers to you and your family!
You ladies are BOTH so brave. I have three adult children. Two daughters. I’m sitting here crying with you. This is heart bending stuff. You are BOTH so BRAVE.
I had such mixed emotions watching this video, Jess - wanting both to support you by watching and yet feeling intrusive for seeing the emotion playing out before me. I am the mum of three young children and can't imagine going through what you are, nor watching my children go through what your mum is watching you go through. Beautiful inner strength was shining through both of you, through all the sadness, tiredness, uncertainty, hope and grit ❤
As a mother of five adult children I am so proud of you. You remind me of four of my five so much, (the fifth has a bit more struggles that it has taken time for him to find his feet) you are taking the pitfalls and real sucky stuff with stride. Thank you for sharing it our journey, you have a awesome support in your puppy, family and the teams who are working with you.
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
Aweee Jess….. we love you and are with you! Personally I am honored that you are allowing us to support you (and your family) through this.
Exactly.
Jess, you and your family continue to be in my daily prayers. As a father of 5 and grandfather of 16, I cannot imagine the mental and physical challenges you and your family face. May God provide the courage to battle this disease.
Dear Jess,
As I sit down to write this, my heart is filled with empathy and understanding for what you are going through. Cancer is a formidable foe, and one that I know all too well. From 21 until 23 as a young guy, just until very recently, I fought that foe, I found myself battling this insidious disease, and it was a fight that lasted for over two years.
During that time, I underwent countless rounds of ineffective chemotherapy, endured more than 13 surgeries, and faced more challenges than I ever thought possible. But through it all, I refused to give up. I fought with every fiber of my being, and I emerged victorious.
As I look back on that difficult chapter in my life, I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude for all of the love and support that I received along the way. And now, as I extend my digital hand out to you, I want you to know that you are not alone.
I have a tremendous amount of respect for you, Jess, and I know that you are a fighter too. Whatever the future holds, I believe that you will be able to overcome any obstacle that comes your way. And most importantly, I hope that you are able to find happiness and joy in the days ahead.
In closing, I want to remind you that you are loved, you are strong, and you are capable of achieving great things. Keep your head held high, and know that there is a community of people who are rooting for you every step of the way, at least I see this in the comments all around.
With love and admiration,
Jess, dear, I love your positivity through all this. But you must know, we’re here for you on the days you’re mad at the world, they days you don’t feel like getting out of bed, and the days you feel emotionally exhausted. We’re here for those days too.
On day 5. All have to say is you have EVERY right to cry and be emotional. Any of the days you have that right with everything you have been going through
You are though a strong young lady.
Getting 4 eggs to freeze is honestly amazing.
I follow your Mom on Sheepishly Me and my heart goes out to both of you during this cancer journey. Take of yourself and I hope you did well on your finals.
Jess, you are not being a baby! I did fertility treatments so I could donate eggs to a friend. Yrs ago when I did it, it was 1 shot in the arm until the last day, 2 in the butt. You are just braver than I was. And I LOVE your hair! You've got this!
The fact that you can smile in the face of such adversity is really inspiring. Thank you.
We Fans Jess are So Very Touched that you and your Family are allowing us to be with you all in such trying times. In South Africa there is a saying "you strike a woman, you strike a rock" which speaks about the strength of a woman...and you Jess are a mountain of strength 💪 ❤
The pen one reminds me of the one I use every day for diabetes. It's called Tresiba. You're awesome Jess. Praying for you and your family. ❤ Edited to add: You're so lucky to have your mom through this. I lost my mom while on my first cancer journey.😢
Jess you are braver than you will ever know. Sharing your cancer and fertility journey is going to help so many others. I love your positivity! Many prayers to you🙏🏼
Jess, Your retrieval was my husband’s bday. Lucky 13. Our prayers are with you through out your journey. 🙏
PS You have great taste, We have the same duvet on our bed 😊
Every time I tell my daughter that it's ok to cry, we both cry and then laugh at ourselves. It's healthy and a way to get those emotions out. Sharing a good cry with mom/daughter is a team building exercise 😉
The strength and courage of your spirit is astounding! Especially for one so young. We are all here, Jess, cheering you on. Prayers and love! ❤
Prayers. You're so brave!
Your mom. What a good lady. As a mom, I can’t tell you how my stomach just hurts watching you have to do this, and it has to hurt worlds more for your mom. God bless you, Jess.
My granddaughter went through this about 5 years ago. They extracted 16 eggs. Like you, she was a tough little lady and did it all herself. You’re going to be fine. Like your mom said, it is good that you’re documenting this to look back on later. My prayers for you and family.
What a treasure this will be for her future children to look back at...to see what their mom did to be able to have them!

I thought she rocked the injections like a pro, too. As a nurse, it is hard to do the first one, yet it gets easier each time. It's tough trying to put the idea of stabbing yourself on purpose. Thank you for being a surrogate! Applause! Warm hugs from Alabama ❤️

Hi Jess. I follow your mom on her Sheepishly Me channel and when she shared your cancer news I came over to watch your channel. I just want to say you're so brave and I know cancer is a scary diagnosis. But you're so positive and I think that helps, but feel free to cry. It's your journey but thank you for including us in it. You rocked those injections like a pro. I'm praying for you, your mom and the rest of your family. Btw I love your hair!! Hugs.
Jess, I mentioned on your last video that you might really enjoy watching fellow Canadian YTers, Eamon and Beck. Beck went thru what you're doing now, just last year and documented her entire journey from finding out, fertility drugs, egg extraction, surgery, chemo, radiation, hair loss, wigs or no wigs, sickness, depression, exhaustion, doctors visits, and luckily, the coming out the other side and returning to their van life in Mexico.
It's such a great story and so inspiring. I keep thinking it will resonate with you because you have so much in common.
Good luck and stay strong. You've got this.

You've been handling this very admirably, Jess! Glad you have your family for support. You've got this!
"A wild ride" is a good way to explain it. We did several rounds of fertility treatment to have our twins. It has been almost 20 years and seeing you give yourself the injection combos bring back all the feels and the anxiety. Just remember it's temporary. This too shall pass. You got this Jess!!! ❤❤❤
So so proud of you Jess.❤

For healing and strength. Also for your family as well. When one of you feels overwhelmed or weak, may you be lifted up by the love and support of each other. Blessings to you from Cleveland, Ohio 💜
