Radwanska being out-Radwanska’d. Hseih, the destroyer of opponents’ lungs, dragging them all over the court on the end of a piece of string. Absolutely fabulous to watch.
Watching Radwanska being outsmarted by Hsieh was a delight. Next match was also quite spectacular, with Hsieh torturing Kerber until she ran out of gas at 6/4 5/4 !
that kerber match had me HOLLERING whole time - the way hsieh just toyed kerber left and right, up and down - side ways and throwing all the junks... i was laughing the whole time but to bad she ran out of gas...
Its verry plesant to see two strategic players playing each other. You know its not gonna be about power like the majority of sterotype wta player. its brings a fresh air miss them both on the single tour
Su-Wei is always an uncomfortable opponent, even if he loses, but he will exhaust all his strength and nerves! It all depends on her mood and physical training! What a pity that she came to the sport late enough! How much joy and entertainment she could bring to tennis and her fans! I'm always rooting for her! Sincerely from Kazakhstan!
@@alexandreelias8145 Also she had an attitude tawords her fans.. I saw her twice refusing to give autographs to a large group of polish fans after her practice in Toronto.. 2 time in RG after her match she refused to sign balls for kids.. Very arrogant...
@@narcyznarcyz-uv4td disgusting! She had good tennis but was never a SLAM champion. Won a FINALS where opponents were tired of the season. Only champion of losers.
This match shows how smart Hsieh is - she knows Radwanzka loves to slice and dice so she goes all in full aggressive. The best players will change their game to win, even if it means stopping what feels more natural for them
Radwanska suffered from a strong viral illness after 2016 season, which basically ended her winning days, causing her to lose a lot of body mass. Also she has a permanently destroyed foot bones. Her foot was destroyed by years of running and trying to reach impossible balls hit by hard-hitters like Serena/Azarenka/Sharapova. Hsieh won here, but this was the empty shell of Aga from her 2012-2016 years.
@@SmithyPL You speak as a Rawanska fan. But the truth is that she never knew how to deal with the fact that she was very skilled and still didn't have the mentality of a champion like a Serena, Sharapova, Safina, or Barty. He was professional, and with a team that took care of his body, the fact that his body couldn't handle it was nonsense. Hsieh had a longer career and faced all the tops with mastery.
@@alexandreelias8145 I don't know about the inclusion of Safina in that list....She had a good season and a half with some good runs at tournaments but never fully took her opportunities. She faded away quickly after that season too.
@@SmithyPLlmao. Had barty not retired early than Iga would still be sweeping dust only. And has Iga faced peak Serena, Sharapova, Venus, Kvitova and Azarenka, she would be only winning dirt. Lmao
Oh…!! Hsieh knows how to frustrate her opponents, who try so hard, physically, to earn a point. Hsieh seems not to exert as much effort as her opponents do, to earn a point. I miss Hsieh solo in court. Of course she and partner won the RG 2023 doubles. But I miss her as a solo player in court.
I agree. I know she hits it flat so it requires less racqueet head speed, but everyone always says, "She's proof you don't need pace to place the ball well." Ummm she still can hit the shit out of the ball
My dude, the 2nd point of the highlights is a 72 mph serve. Luckily for Hsieh, speed is not everything in tennis. She is a supreme athlete. Just not a heavy hitter. When it comes to spatial awareness, creativity and execution, there aren't many better than her in the history of the sport.
Yep. She was really annoyed because in the match her opponent kept stopping play because of bugs on the court, but Aga had a good point in that the bugs were all over the court, and constantly moving so you can’t really stop the point over and over for every single bug. It was really interrupting the momentum of the match.
@@moviefan4life166 eh... Radwanska was a fantastic player to watch for her tricks but she always had a bad attitude at the net, almost never gave a nice handshake
The umpire had a blip at 5:38. He missed the fact that Radwanska played the ball back to Hsieh's court side and hence did not lose the point. Radwanska objected saying to the umpire: 'Are you serious? I hit the ball. On the other side.' The point was replayed after the supervisor intervened.
Indeed. I saw the ump in another match Aga played in 2018 accidentally call the incorrect score against Aga too. She was playing Mona Bartel in the Qatar Open and the Cheech who is so well respected as umpire, screwed up badly with the score that day. It was eventually corrected I believe but stressed out Aga did win the match.

Yes. This is true.
Too bad they can't be strategic and have power like Serena. That's even better to watch.
Su-Wei's games are always fun to watch.

I would like to know how many yards/meters Radwanska travelled vs Hseih travelled. Radwanska rarely got to be in a comfortable hitting position.
They always say Hsieh doesn’t hit the ball very hard but how come the shots seem to be moving so fast???
I think she hits very flat. That's why the ball penetrates the court fast.
