i would like to add something...though it was very well researched and explained...there is one aspect missing...in those days there was no concept of neutral umpires...countries like pakistan, india, australia and west indies always took advantage of home umpires with decisions often favoring the home team...in this series it was no different...infact westindies were too scared of losing 2-0 at home and facing the embarrassment ...this last match was not broadcasted..according to west indie's viewpoint..there was a strike going on by the media that had nothing to do with the series...pakistan ofcourse has a different view...if you observe the footage used in this video..it is made by a home use camera...one can judge by the quality...the last wicket stand was largely helped by extremely bias umpiring...lbw's and caught behinds were never given...it was a daylight robbery...but having said that...in those days almost all home umpires favored the host countries...pakistan was not the only victim...teams visited pak were also victims of bias umpiring.
Pak were on the receiving end 2 more times.
