  • In today's video I fit a tasty new remote adjust Hagon Shock to my 2011 Honda CBF1000. I go through the actual fitting of the shock in decent detail and show you what you have to disassemble to fit it :)
Anyway, I hope this helps someone out there!! Initial impressions of the Hagon coming soon :)

If you haven’t already, use a bit of thread lock on the hugger bolts. A word to the wise, they can come loose and ruin your tire!

Shock upgrades are where its at man. They mad a world of difference on my Dyna. Good job on the video, entertaining as always and I don’t even own a sport bike. Cheers brother.

It's starting to get serious in the garage. Soon enough it's gonna be a fully pack with tools and stuff and ready to welcome new bikes.

Great modification probably needed to be done. Ah we all have bad days every now and then. Cant wait for the Suzuki 😁

Hey mate grabbed your channel through The Ponkster. I'm also about to replace a rear shock on my VFR750 with a Hagon. Sure it will be a similar process but ill film it for the channel anyhows. Nice Channel with loads of content. 👍

Good grief. Access to the shock wasn’t exactly handy. That was an involved little job! Loved the video. Time in the garage is always good. Also that sofa looks really comfortable. A great place to have a cup of tea after finishing a job. Ride Safe Brother 🙏🏻😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Glad you had a go before me,l have had the same idea to change the shock,l tend to ride on the quick side and the bike tends to get out of shape when you are pushing on

Oh man it looks like so much work. I really need to do my shock. I'm just going to pay someone to do it. As far as your "temper tantrum" goes.... Oh man you are so in control. I literally yelled at a co-worker yesterday and lost my shit. You are a prince among thieves. Love your work. So cool you have a work space for your bikes man. When did you record this? A month ago?

Did I miss something? No spanners were thrown! You didn't kick the bike! You didn't storm out and go to the pub. Need to work harder on the tantrums lol. These things were never designed to be worked on, just assembled once at the factory in the correct sequence. Another good clear how to.

Ace vid, and tantrum :D I think it is good to show the frustrating bits as it is things that a home mechanic will experience too! :-)

Why not drop the swingarm and pivot and clean, check (replace if needed) and lube the bearings and change the seals when you changed the shock?
