I recommend The Weight of Blood by Tiffany D. Jackson. It’s a contemporary mild Horror/Thriller inspired by Stephen King’s Carrie. I’m reading and listening to it now and I can’t put it down! 🤩
I’m almost 65 years old. I read Stephen King Salems lot when it first came out I believe in 1975. I was 15. It is still one of my all-time favorite horror novels.
If you want more of Stephens King I would highly recommend reading Pet Sematary, it was my first Stephen King book and my favorite book ever, it is such a roller coaster and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Stephen King has also written amazing books that aren't horror books like Fairy Tale, or 11/22/63.
I’m finishing reading what move the dead and loving it. Can’t wait to see what happens. Also finished reading Camilla. I listened to it. And it was fabulous. Would never had known about these books if not for you. Thank you so much.
Fall of The House of Usher is a phenomenal show, not only does it tell the title story, but each episode is centered around another Poe story or poem. 10/10 recommend.
I’ve just read Salem and I loooved it! ❤ 🧛♂️ I’ve been scared of longer books but this one was so easy for me because the writing was so good! It was my first King book and I don’t know which one read next, can someone help?😊
Omg i was just searching for a video to watch while cleaning so its gonna be perfect thanks !! ( + You really help me with oral comprehension in english bcs im not a native speaker Thanks for that too)
For some strange reason I thought reading It by Stephen King was the best way to dive into his catalogue…it’s over 1100 pages 🥴yeah I will be reading that one the whole season 😅 I highly recommend Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak. Very creepy and giving all the spooky season vibes. And read it either tandem with the audio or strictly physical/ebook bc there is artwork that plays a crucial role in the book. So good!
I LOVE T. Kingfisher!! I recently got an Illumicrate special edition box set, I'd be happy to pass along my regular copies to you if you're interested. I have The Hollow Places, A House With Good Bones and The Twisted Ones. Let me know! 😊
I loved “What Moves the Dead”, and still need to read the second one. If I remember correctly Alex was born a girl. But after becoming a sworn soldier they took on the soldier pronouns of Ka/Kan. It’s been a while though so I might have mixed something up 😂. Great video!
Hey Friend, Happy Thursday. I’m ready for a good Halloween book. I love the way you talk about the books that you recommend. I’m so excited about the holidays coming up soon. 😊🥰
Hey khalilah! I know how much you liked Vera Wong! I have another book by the same author! It's called The Obsession! It's fast paced and short it's YA! Hope you see this!
YOU DID NOT LIE! I’m on page 417 of Salem’s Lot now and I had to sleep with a night light last night! Lol😅 With my scary behind. I just finish reading Suffer the Children by Craig Diloule and that one is creepy as heck! Well, as a mom of young children and a person who runs a daycare I gotta tell you children that are vampires are creeper than they should be. It was a good read though. It made me question what lengths I would go to for my children….
I don’t watch a lot of your videos because you talk too much of what the book is about and I like to go into a book blind. A lot of times you give the whole book away and it ruins the book for me that I don’t want to read it anymore but I love your Barnes & Noble videos.
