Very well constructed review. But, I think the delay knob is actually for how long it will stay dark after the light goes off rather than how long it will take to actually darken.
Bought my 1st auto helmet 1998 off the Matco tool truck. Yes I paid dearly for it. The glass was no different in size from a standard welding helmet Used it for my own diy projects for 20+ years. Using a Miller auto helmet now. Still getting used to the enormous window. Only thing I'm not happy with the new helmet is the plastic spatter shield. You have nice a helmet. Hope it works well for you. Hope I made sense. The storke messed up my words sometimes.
wow the price is definitely right for the home users. I like the large viewing area, it was a feature I definitely looked for when I purchased my current helmet
People don't realize they make different welding helmets for different reasons stick welding for example is a dirty process hell mig can also be a dirty process if ur using Flux core wire. That's why stick welder have a heavier duty helmet with a small view. Tig welding is a cleaner process so a large lense makes sense. I have a large view welding helmet from Eastwood love it for tig hate it for mig gets to dirty. I own like 3 different style helmets

Nothing like John Wick in the back ground while welding.
