You make that sound like it’s the black man’s fault. If that is true should it not be the same for black men everywhere in all countries

These are the debates that need to be seen. Unfortunately, this information can’t be packed neatly into a 30 second sound bite, so it’s not ripe for social proliferation.

The problem is that people who are not willing or able to have kids have them and those kids grow up to be menaces to the community for the next 20 years. There's no punishment for these unfit parents. So what do you think will happen? If people were allowed to take a crap in the street would you be surprised if the streets smelled? So why then can these unfit parents just produce humans when they are not willing or able to. It's the single parent problem that's affecting a lot of African-American communities but the bigger question is why are people allowed to have these kids in the first place without facing any punishment?

This was an excellent discussion. Bob's statistical presentation was on point!

Incredible discourse. Diverse views, respectful disagreement. Obviously they were each seemed very glad to truely enjoy common ground when they found it. This was refreshing, and what is missing in today's discussions on equally deep personal, and painful, social problems. America's problems, no black not white.

The last question, on the legitimacy of academics pushing the church as a corrective for black problems -- the church in the community works. Often wonders. Its agenda - Christianity - similarly has a proven track record in improving all of the metrics being assessed.

Restoring the family, and there it is the baby bird, can you imagine we spent as much money as we have on programs, education, jail's on working with people that can make families sustainable in the black community, any kid raised by a single mother or any single parent household is very likely to have bad outcomes, yet we still aren't doing anything about this? All DEMOCRATIC run cities seem to be very happy with there voting base ....
