    Here's an overview of some texturing techniques. Apologies to those of you who have already seen the first upload of this and who left comments. I didn't realise I had about 30 minutes of blank video at the end!

    Your texturing techniques created a very dynamic design, enhanced by lovely colour choices. Had it been mine, I would have kept, in some form, as a finished piece. It was sad to the gouge fall.
    Thanks

    Loved this video I have a Proxxon and the attachments you mention. I have had a bit play with it and love it although OST’s quite a scary tool. There are so few videos on its use this was great to watch. I am still only practicing but love you videos and your work. Thanks for this one it’s realllllyyy useful. Kevin

    Interesting video, i tend to use a flex shaft with my dremel, and have over 100 different bits, But none of them cut as well as the Proxton

      Thanks, Mart. I know what you mean about the Proxxon compared to the Dremel. I've found the carbide milling cutters do a good job. I've got a Saburrtooth sphere burr coming this week to see how that goes in the Dremel. Glad the video was interesting. Cheers!

    Stewart, I really like your texturing and coloring. How do you determing which colors will work together?

    • @stewartfurini
      @stewartfurini  4 роки тому

      Thank you, Bob. I seem to have found some favourite combinations just from trying things out. It helps that most of the colouring I do is with a set of stains that come in the rainbow colours and pretty much any two of them will work well together. For me, my go to colour combos are yellow, orange and red or both of the blues with either some purple or yellow, or occasionally green. I tend to keep to these two colour palettes most of the time....
