Do you still have a safari brown suit 😀?
lol like Bob Downe (what a sight 😅)
@ ha ha yes
Dark green suit was never in fashion Richard, maybe on St Patrick's Day 😅
@ 😜
Richard, speaking of night markets, consider a visit to thepprasit night market and Naklua seafood market,I haven't been to either but hear good things 🙏
Great video, area looks great full of energy and culture, nice wide beach area for riding bikes and walking. Bit more to see and do them then the quiet island areas of Thailand which get a bit boring laying around on a beach all day.
@@Heathrow75 yes it definitely looks like an great area
Always enjoy watching your videos. Thanks Richard.
@@TLee-gz your welcome 🙏
I love the 7-Elevens in Thailand. I love the ham and cheese toasties 😋
Yes they are great
@@roamingRichard Portuguese egg tarts are amazing at 7/11
@ I’ll have to try them
Looks so much different than Bali and Vietnam. I've on be to Bali and Vietnam. thank you to you and Karen for sharing your world with us 🤗
@@sharonbrown1033 your welcome 😁
Thanks for showing us around Richard . How are you both enjoying Thailand so far ? 🌺
Yes we are. We will be visiting other places in Thailand soon 😁
Thanks for the tour, seems like there is a lot of places to check out and a good variety.
@@wmvaux yes we think so and there is so much more . We haven’t even showed Pattaya fully yet 😁
@@roamingRichard I checked some other videos about the night life there and I think I'd give it a miss too, Too old for that 😆
@ yep 👍
Weather looks fantastic
Yes it was great👍
Great vdo.
You were correct with “Hello” and “Thank you” for males.
“Excuse me “ for male is “Kaah Tot Na Kap”
Also “Talay” is beach or seafood. You will find alot of hotels and guest houses will use the noun “Talay” in their name.
Enjoy Thailand ❤
@@DanielL-c3f thank you
I wasn’t sure
@ no probs at all! Practice your Thai with thhe locals, they love it!
Type English in Google Translator and it will come up in Thai complete with the correct pronunciation.
@@steveth1000 google translate can be horrible and not accurate at times!
@ sometimes google translator isn’t quite right 😁
Jomtien area seems to be a sort less congested, spread out version of Kuta Bali, not a lot of Thai character. Is it a convenient place to launch visits to other areas? Thanks for the video.
@@schmoopy2410 yes similar
My friend has travelled all of Thailand and he always says that Hua Hin is where he’s retiring. I really hope you get to see it too. 🤞
It’s definitely on our list of places to see 😁
@@roamingRichard I’ll be looking out for that vlog. People always make recommendations and then they aren’t exactly as one imagines. I’ve got my fingers crossed that you and Karen find the ultimate spot for your future. 🙏
@ yes I’m sure it will happen, we really want to spend some time in different locations in Thailand before deciding we’re is the longer stay going to be
Looks great
It certainly is!
Thanks for your videos looks like you and Karen are having a great time .. will you even return to Bali or is it your country to stay long term?
@@sharonbrown1033 we haven’t decided
We will only return to Bali when we sell our villa
The more I look at Thailand and similar countries, the more I like australia
@@garrysmith4454 👍
Nice video ❤😊
Glad you liked it!🙏
I had never much rated Pattaya and surrounds and considered them as places to avoid. However , your videos have shown a new side. May add back on our bucket list minus the nightlife
@@traceinoz3159 yes we don’t get involved in that night life
There are so many good bars and places to eat
Unfortunately a lot of older UA-camrs promote the other stuff to get views
My friends lived there about 30 years ago in a gated community. They said it was sleazy at night even back then.
@ yes we stay away from those areas
Enjoyed learning more about Jomtien thank you! Constructive feedback you move the camera a little too fast for me sometimes.
@@TheTacticalathlete oh ok I’ll slow the camera movement down . Thanks for feedback 👍
Would love to know how you are finding it compared to Vietnam. Great walk and talk tour. I do not like the look of it but that is just my personal opinion! It looks barren and busy.
@@daniellerichard1385 hi a lot more to do it seems . We prefer this place over DaNang . Yes we don’t know if we will stay . We want to see around before making any decisions
@@roamingRichard thank for reply - yes, keep your options open
@ 👍
Richard I've noticed the cannabis signs a lot as i know it's now legally sold there. Can you smell it everywhere? Being a non smokers/drug taker i couldn't think of anything worse while eating/drinking
@@tomsmum2003 No definitely not . We are non smokers and have found it is all ok 👍
Hi Richard - how far is the Jontiem night markets from your apartments ?
@@sharonw3982 20 minute walk approx
Wrong spelling but If you want a little slice of lemon in your beer it’s pronounced “nit noi manow”
Ok thank you 👍
Thanks for showing us, but not somewhere id consider spending any time, Da Nang was ok, but not this place eek
@@ausjen ok , yes I suppose certain places won’t suit everyone 😁
Thank you is said K̄hxbkhuṇ
Ok thanks
Excuse me is said K̄hx xnuỵāt
Thank you
