"levelsio" just gets it, was really impressed by how he goes about building products. Learned a few things! Honestly surprised there aren't more views.
12:28 Hi, DampeS8N here. Yep, that was my comment. Little did I know 10 years ago that my stupid comment would show up in some UA-cam video of a talk where it was in a Power Point 6 years later and that 4 years after that someone would see it, find the answer on SO and leave a comment on that comment to tell me about it. But here we are. We live in that universe. I wish I still had the free time to comment on Stack Overflow's newest PHP questions. I have not watched the whole video here, but what I have seen sounds like solid advice.
I have trouble leaving my comfort zone too, mostly because I have no money to travel. There for I struggle with ideas that solve problems. How do you recommend someone get into digital nomad'ing? All my ideas are very large - from green movements, to political activity movements, to economy solutions. How do I stop thinking so big? Is thinking this big a bad thing? You said do not start with a website or app so big.
Kyle Scott travel has nothing to do with this video (except maybe getting ideas). You can get ideas anywhere you have problems. How to stop thinking big? Think smaller. Try to solve tiny problems you have in your day to day life. Airbnb didn't start as a big movement, they started as a paid Couchsurfing alternative. If you're not successful yet then yes thinking big is probably keeping you away from actually making anything since it paralyzes you as nothing you can do now is big enough. So, start small.
Just focus on the PAIN! Try to find out your pain and relieve it. Guess what possibly there is 1/3 of the world in the same situation you are in. Thats how it starts.
Reddit isn't a great place to advertise your app if it's paid. There's a lot of subreddits that have rules against advertising and they will flag it as advertisement easily. If anything, make your app free for the first few weeks and bring it out to people on forums and Reddit asking for feedback.

LOL omg so cool
Great talk. I spend way too much time listening to people like him instead of actually getting my ass off the couch and making stuff.
Hey Dario, just curious to know where are you now, after two years. Did you build anything?
Dario Stefanutto Looks solid! Thanks, let’s meet here again in two years with the updates.

Love this guy, he is genuinely interested in teaching business and not in being PC. Great value video 🔥
The first 3 mins are already super based
Great presentation, although saying that ads and marketing is dead is pretty much bullshit. 5 years ago even more.
Great, great talk! Just what I needed to hear at this moment.
This guy's energy is amazing 😂
