Ah yes, wherein Towers gets to lecture the masses-20 minutes after admitting how wrong he was on King. One thing I really dislike is the lack of accountability. Frank is the only one who ever says he got something wrong. (Unless it’s just too obvious to play off, like King). Burger at 19 at 3B? I don’t think there are 15 3B I’d rather have, and definitely not Arenado, whose hard contact metrics are abysmal (even for him).
wood vs Elly comparison is good. Wood is not the same athlete but he has a better eye, better contact and more power so his ops+ will be superior. Wood just does not have the same level of defense and he will end up in RF/LF, and his speed is good but not great vs Elly.
Chris Towers is far far too low on Zebby Matthews.... while he did say a few good things, he is kind of taking the "safe route" and acting like Zebby isn't really that special. Yet his hammering the strike zone and never walking anyone IS SPECIAL. So very special. This kid has tons of upside and that needs to be stated. Don't just act like "yeah he is pretty good", he is that, but has UPSIDE to be even better.... Put some respect on Zebby please!!! Come on!
Seriously Frank????? The Yankees are the luckiest franchise in baseball history. For the next 200. years nobody will catch up to their WS records. They have 2 1/2 times more World Series victories than the 2nd highest winner. Twice as many appearances as #2 (the Cardinals). 3 times as many victories and appearances as the 3rd & 4th highest WS winners. To keep it clean, shut up Frank 😡

I went into this season with Langeliers as my backup to Bo Naylor. Needless to say, their roles have reversed.
I held onto Murphy all season until his return. Then he was losing time and made the switch. Murphy still on the WW doing nothing.
