That opening theme took me back to when I was a kid in the 90s watching Ron Franklin and Mike Gottfried call the ESPN Saturday night game of the week. What great memories.
Hold? They were called for several holding calls. 1 on a run that went for over 30 yards. And that holding call was marginal at best. This game could have gotten out of control for A&M as ND missed several opportunities
Casual take lol. Neither QB looked good in this game, but it's too early to say whether they're a non-factor or not. Leonard was getting pressured all night and barely had time to throw behind an offensive line with only 6 combined starts. Once ND's o-line gets a few more starts under their belt and Riley has some time to make some downfield throws, then we'll be able to tell if he's good or not. As for Weigman, ND has one of the most - if not THE most - elite secondary in college football. They made Caleb Williams look like like garbage last year when he played them, with 3 INTs and his worst offensive performance of the season. We'll have to see how Weigman does against some lesser secondaries before we say he's a lost cause.
A&M are not that good. They brag about how good their defense is and did not get 1 sack. Weigman is probably going to be another 5 star bust. Weigman did not play in a big 5A or 6A school. He played in a 4A. Not as good as those big schools. So no I think Weigman is scared. Ever since he got hurt the very first time he has not been effective. Maybe after a couple of games and if Weigman can't produce then its time to bench him. Also Elko is a pretty good defensive coordinator but a head coach nota nota. This is not Duke this is the SEC.
Thank you Matt! These are great if you’re outside the US
What a great game! Thanks Matt!!
O-Line didn't allow a sack, that was my biggest fear all game. Go Irish!
Bro that fourth down call was ridiculous

Both squads look tough but neither have a QB.
I don't see either being a factor.

Leonard is a first round draft pick lol
BOOOOOOOOOOOO
People act like ND did something, TA&M has a new coach and still almost beat ND.
Then why did everyone pick them to lose...
K, 🤡.
wow how many times did notre dame's offensive line hold on for dear life and yet not a single flag all game????
Sure, 🤡.
